Seems like a cool idea, when one squirter does not get it done add another. :champagne: Whats the consensus on dual jet boats like the one for sale in AZ?

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/boa/3188434800.html

Is the dual more efficient? Better hole shot? Better top end?

Its a great idea....i think someone should develop a new deck boat using that technology.

Probably make millions and change the industry

Hmmmmm... Definately not an expert.... but IMO One jet alone takes a truck load of HP to get a boat that size to really move. I can only imagine what it takes to push two of them.

Other than the inefficency issue, the boat itself looks real clean:thumbsup

Imagine that guy.

He would probably become famous and never have to work a day again. Ever.

I'm really curious about its performance as well.

Someone get a ride in it and report back.

Me thinks there are several aliases created along his path of immaturity.
I could be wrong, but I remain vigilant.

No kidding. A deck boat with a dual jet and a big twin turbo would be the shit. I'd tell Merc to hug my nuts if I had the dual jet. :D

It took more then a Daytona to do that dual jet, I believe they made a mold just for the dual jet Daytona, I believe they widened the mold 9" Theres a few dual jets running around, and yes they have a crazy holeshot

Yes it was a 19 Daytona that was widened and had to be flawless to take the mold off of it, my brother along with Roger Weiman did the mold for Harold Bruce

Performance Boats did an article one time about dual jets. Had this boat featured as well as Harold's with a couple others. I don't remember the year and month though.

Yeah I seen the mold at Harold bruces, I had to ask about it and got the scoop, also Harold Bruce owns the patent on the intake for the dual jet correct?

Your buddy Kirk pondered the idea of buying the dual jet boat made by Trident before he decided to buy his Ultra. He asked me why every boat wasnt a dual jet cause the builder, at the time, made all the sense in the world.

That's a nice dual jet.:thumbsup

My dad built that 23' dual jet. Had Ultra lay it up and then R&d marine did all the rigging. Jim Guthrie built a stout 572 for it. the dual jet was actually very fast. great for the lower river. When they went and tested it it tore the front seats out because it left so hard. Alot of engineering went into the gear case. Ended up selling it soon after it was finished.

It was bought and sold then converted to dual IO's.
Never to be seen again.

Now that could be cool! Like the old Cyclone running around. On big motor, a splitter, and 2 bravos:thumbup::cool:
