I have heard about it but not watched it. We don't have Netflix but might see if it's on YouTube.

Then this will be right up your alley. It is amazing what Boeing did to hide known issues with these planes. Like anything else $$$$$$$

Anybody watch this documentary on Netflix? It is about the 737 Max. Fascinating and horrifying to say the least.
I watched it this weekend. Really interesting. Pisses you off as well

I heard they outsourced design and other things to some Indian fuckers? I don't even trust outsourced people to answer the phone properly, let alone design a plane.

I thought the show laid it out pretty well. Pretty sure the additional pilot training costs they did everything to avoid amount to a drop in the swimming pool now.

Seems most everything has gone to shit now that companies only worry about the next quarters numbers.

NOthing to India from what I hear. They have outsourced to Russia and Ukraine. There are design centers in Moscow and Liev.

My wife cousin worked for a company that built Titanium parts for Boeing.. Needless to say, as of about 6mo ago, he now delivers mail for USPS.

And maybe sell the stock.
Buy and sell. Best up and down stock I have found. It gives a swing trade of 5-10% a month or more. I’ve made money on it several times and I don’t even know what I’m doing 😁

Watched it. Some interesting POV‘s on dropping the ball.
Everyone in the story got paid to be on camera.
While the system was released without documentation, not all airlines had it activated.
The AA pilot I drink and boat with knew about the system on the test flight he did prior to AA taking delivery of the first plane.

Very factual I was working for both companies at the time of the acquisition it was a shit show for sure each floor worker had at least two supervisors some more .
‘they called everyone into a hangar on a Friday I think around 4000 workers and terminated them all and then said we will be re hiring 3000 on Monday my company was owed millions I was scared to death but BOEING Managment told me to not worry and hang tight.
I was eventually paid and we still help them today.

I watched it. Still a long term holder of the stock.

Will be a bit more nervous next time I fly.

Well it’s off $10.50 right now. Seems like that company can’t get its act together and has serious long term issues with quality. Now 2 more companies may cancel the 777.

I think if it breaks into the 180’s I may grab some.

all this dislike of outsourcing to other countries.

our kids are going to college and getting a degree in liberal arts or professional victim studies.

other countries are actually getting an education relevant to the things we need.

All I can say is WOW. The Wallstreet Quarterly Profits Over All Else has ruined so many companies. Every decision is for short term quarterly profits, never for the long term.

Someone (or more ) should go to jail for that. The smug, metro-looking CEO should not have been given a $62M golden parachute.

This makes me angry!!
