Well I'm sure this is gonna be a long list of things that are gonna break owning this thing.. LOL. But the Jensen Radio deal quit on me when I got back to Havasu.

So I need a double din RV Radio with inputs for 3 cameras.. The back up and then the left and right mirrors have Cameras. Which one would ya get? I need to Amazon this because we are going to go use this thing here pretty quick!

what kind of outputs are your cameras? You can likely find a selector switch for 3 inputs. I just did a quick google search and found several but all had different input connections. Get one of those then you can use any single video input double din head unit. wire up a switch to the reverse signal wire so when you turn the switch on the head unit thinks your in reverse and goes to the cameras and then you can use the selector to cycle through them.

the one that was on it activated with the turn signals otherwise it was always back up camera with various zooms. I’ll just buy another Jensen because then I’m sure it will just work

You can get one of these, I did one recently on my aunts RV, basically lets you use any double din radio with only a single camera input.

Here is the youtube video that inspired my to give it shot:

RD, are you sure you didn't accidentally turn the switch off? Most MH's have a switch on the dash that shuts the power off so you don't have tge LCD glow at night.

I would make sure it just didn't come unplugged or something stupid, it is an RV.

I can almost guarantee you that it has one input and uses a selector box like I mentioned that the video trigger wires are tied to the turn signal circuit and turn on based on that.

Best to pull the old radio out to see what inputs it actually has... or google the model number for the specs.

JVC/Jensen/Boss are kind of low end... get Kenwood or Sony if you can.

The radio is fried.. I'm ordering that Kenwood 697S mentioned above right now. It will do everything I need. :)

Blue... rough color at night. No way to change to red? That Kenwood will be really nice. 👍

^^^Rethink the blue, or setup some that you can change. The night driving with a vertical windshield will make you dim them way down...
If you can just get one to mess with, power it up at night inside the coach. Then you can see how much glare you will get before you setup all of them.

not going with the Kenwood.. going with that stinger deal I posted the link to the video too.

these things are pretty far away from the winshield.. I don’t think you’d see any glare?

It really depends on the windshield angle, and light placement. If they are too bright, they can illuminate you...kind of making you into a ghost image on the glass, which you have to look through while night driving. Blue instead, of red, is harder for your eyes to adjust from light to dark. Kind of like a red dot or halo sight...usually green for daylight, and red for night. There's some scientific reason, but don't remember what.

Mostly because republicans are Red, and they like that Green money..

Davey at Wired 4 Sound is gonna hook it up..

That's the new hotness... Uses the double din, but puts it on a 10 inch screen that is "floating" out in front of the dash like the new motorhomes (that was a selling point on most of the new ones I was looking at as well).

That unit looks badass! Let us know how it goes on this trip. I have (probably the same or close) Jensen in mine. It works fine, but I know there has to be better. A lot of people on the rv forums and groups bitch about their head units/monitors.

One review on Amazon, and it's not glowing.

It looks like a no name head unit, and not worth $850.00

Sony or Kenwood are the "Michelin" of audio

This is what caught my eye in the review:

Further the colors are washed out making Apple Maps hard to see during the day, with Google Maps, Waze, and Sygic slightly more visible but still not correct. So... it's pixelated, fuzzy, poor colors, and hard to see compared to the core UI of the unit. The images on this Amazon listing are likely photoshopped, not actual representative of the quality you will receive.

But if you like the price, and get to return it if you don't like it... give it a try!
