The wife's lab is toy destroyer, any toy that is not hard nylon will get destroyed in minutes. I've even purchased chew toys on Amazon that have a lifetime guarantee that last as long as 20 minutes until there's chunks missing in them. The problem with the hard nylon toys is that they are so damn noisy when she drops them on the hardwood floor and they get these sharp edges on them from her chewing on them and hurt like hell when she comes up and rubs against your bare leg with one of them.

Is there anything out there that's a little bit softer and not noisy that won't get destroyed in minutes?

Our German Shepard chews through every toy she has even the ones that say indestructible...the best thing we have found has been these ChuckIt balls...we buy the two pack and they last for quite a while, she never really chews them to pieces, but they usually break in the middle but never falls apart...we probably buy the two pack once a year...

I have the same problem with my Lab and my sons two Labs. I found this brand of toy at Pets Mart. Longest lasting toys I have found.

Its weird...our dog chewed the kong up into pieces...but doesnt chew up the chuckit balls....dont know why, cause the kong seems way more durable...my wife says the Remi just loves the chuckit balls more so she doesnt abuse them...lol

I've had good luck with West Paw Design stuff, semi soft and last with multiple cattle dogs and pups. The tennis ball sized solid one and this rounded triangle thing are good.

Might be a bit large for your pup, but for my big ass dogs I give them used atv tires. Just cut the bead out with a razor knife as its metal and can tear up their teeth when they do get through the rubber. My Rottweiler had his tire for 12 years.

My dogs can destroy toys or balls in minutes, or they can keep a toy for a year or until I throw it away. There’s no rhyme or reason. It’s annoying as fuck sometimes.

Tennis balls seem to die pretty fast, rubber balls seems to last a while.

My boy like the Tuffy frisbees, but at some point he will just shred it.

I have some fire hose toys but the ends are shredded on those too.

It’s not being able to chew them up, it’s all the little pieces of rubber or plastic she swallows is what the problem is.

I had some points on my Amazon account - I’ll give these things a shot.

Ours did the same thing. Found these by accident and he is crazy about them. I have to take it away because he drives us crazy. FYI the squeakers wear out quick which is a plus, but the actual lasts forever. His is on 100,000 squish’s already. Lol.

Our dog would have all those nubbies down in minutes and ball would be in pieces shortly after. Then she’d have pieces of nubbies in her shit for the next few days.

I've had great luck with these, Halo could kill a toy within minutes. I found them at tractor supply. He'll eventually kill the quacker, but still loves playing with it.

We used the Chuck It ball and loved it. He has since chewed it up. He is only 7 months, so hoping he grows out of destroying toys. On the bright side, he doesn't chew stuff he isn't supposed to.

I got him a Kong Pig. 10 minutes the legs and ears were chewed off. LOL.

Does anyone use the Himalayan cheese sticks (I think the same as Yak Sticks). They seem like they are too hard for adult teeth.

We've tried those and she likes them, but they leave crumbs wherever she is laying down chewing on those, but we have to toss them when they get short so she doesn't swallow them. The only problem with those is that they are almost $12 a stick.

That’s pretty cool.👍

In April we were in San Diego and walked through the Marine war museum.

Notice the black kong on the left.

I had no idea that toy and company had been around that long.

Our 7 year old destroys toys too. All the nylon toys are toe breakers when she drops them. She loves to grab a toy from her bucket when she greets you. As you can see we have tried about everything. The balls you put treats in she does not destroy. I gave her a piece of PEX which is not loud and doesn't hurt when she drops it at your feet. We have made fire hose into chew toys. You put an empty water bottle in the and sew up the ends. They don't last forever but stand up pretty well.

Those are Charlee's go-toos, but they are noisy as hell when she drops them on the hardwood floor and the chewed up areas hurt like hell when she rubs them across your legs.
I seem to always find them in the middle of the night barefoot so I feel your pain.

My Boy should be hired as a "Toy destroyer" by the industry Nothing survives ....................... except very occasionally like the Pink Lizzard on the bed in the offiice , must be his favorite because so far he has let it survive ...

Best for our giant breed Newf were those large pull/tug ropes. She didn't destroy those. She loved to grab one end and shake her head, slinging that thing around like a giant bull whip. You didn't want to get in the way of it. My wife didn't want to believe why dogs shake their toys and like the squeaky sounds. . . They are simulating killing a small animal.

Whole antlers (not split) and Benebones are our go-to for chew toys that last.

We have a shitton of stuffed toys, but most are missing various appendages. Even the "tough" toys have some sort of amputation/modification performed on them by our dogs.

Our male is a heck of a toy destroyer! Anything Nylabone is great … but he’s too
agro of a chewer and his teeth are like nubs these days.

His favorite ball ever is the Orbee tuff ball … it even floats! Perfect for the river! His first mission is to pick all the “world” green pieces off LOL

Planet Dog Orbee-Tuff Planet Ball Blue/Green Treat-Dispensing Dog Toy, Large https://a.co/d/0AkWAbQ

The West Paw ball is good too - doesn’t float as well. The other West Paw toys don’t hold up well… just the ball.

XL Black Kong … filled with peanut butter for the win

IMG_6789.jpeg
IMG_1756.jpeg

This toy is super long lasting too … he was so happy to get a new one. Called Unbreakoball

IMG_8862.jpeg

Good luck … we too have been there, tried that! Haha

We tried those before, anything with nubbies she goes after and then holes appear, and then chunks are missing, and in a day or two she has multi colored flecks of plastic in her piles.
