Dog woke the whole house up @2:02AM.
I was sleeping soooo good after a day of manning the shovel in the heat prepping for the rains.

Who else is up all night?

Just took mine out. Wife woke up too and the kids are asleep. So, waking up wasn't all bad. Lol

Off to Newberry springs now. Buddy broke down. Going to hook the trailer to my truck and load his truck on his brother's trailer. It would seem his dpf is clogged. We may have to stop at Barstow main. Drive it off road road for awhile. Bounce real hard and pray nothing falls off.

Flapping fuckin ears, then he had to piss.
We get that too. Only thing that'll get the wife up to take her out.
She won't go out with me if the wife is home. Has to be by her side to always guard her.

Wife took this of Duke & me at 6am. This guy is my shadow. I'll wake up with him next to me with his head on the pillow sometimes. HAHA!

I never sleep past 4 am. It's just my contractor clock and it only really sucks when were on vacation.

I take 5:30 am boat rides just the Dog and me when were at the river. This is why I don't like the RV thing. Nowhere to go except out the door.

If A raindrop hits the roof, Max is wide the fuck awake….and I better take him to the back door so he can go out and chew on the orange tree. I guess it makes sense in his head.

Best thing to ever happen is no more dogs in bed, at bed time they all climb into their crates. I do have contractors curse even on the weekends 4am wake up.

Halo is my couch nap buddy, he sleeps at my feet, but the 2 times I let him crawl in bed, well an 80 pound brute tank that's trying to push his body against you just isn't very comfortable. The crates work well, it's their safe space, you don't punish them with the crate you make it their home. In fact I bet if I took the doors off they would still sleep in their designated crates all night.

Only time I ever gave in on the bed was with Trinket and Penny (RIP to both), over thunderstorms and fireworks. They would literally sleep on top of me shaking all night.

You can see how comfortable he is. I say he’s sleeping on the job but in reality he’s family and knows his mama.
