I wouldn’t think so. They should have enough areas to do that on-site. Plus the logistics to put people over would be terrible.
The city has “Social Distancing Directives” they are implementing. It might be a part of that. The city is closing some city buildings to the public. The beaches might be a part of that.

When I was in Cali Saturday, news had said they were going to use that as a "quarantine location for those who could not maintain the ability to otherwise do so"...so yep, sick homeless people.

Per my wife, the homeless haven’t been showing up with it yet
Which means they have it but are handling it like other illnesses or their rat infested lifestyle makes them immune to it

When I first heard of this, I was ass-uming that they were letting homeless RV’s take up shop there to get them out of the neighborhoods.

Pretty sure this is one of very few LA county run parks with RV hook ups that is somewhat away from homes (about a half mile).
The question Id have is who keeps a eye on who is placed there and what is the enforcement policy on keeping them there?

UPDATE: just saw live broadcast
Those RV’s are ALL El Monte RV rentals
They put a vinyl sticker over the El Monte RV but the “goin places with smilin faces” logos are on the back
So it’s either they bought the in stock rentals or these are long term leases (yuck)

They have no idea when they will open the park back to the public as it’s run by LA County.
FYI, saw it this AM on my diversion from the riots working LAX for one day lol
