WTF kind of smoke belching Cummins monster do you have? I've never had a problem with soot on my interior or boat or trailer for that matter in the thousands of miles I've towed my boat, or any other boat, or trailer, for that matter. Turn your chip down.

I always wondered why Navistar never made a run at big truck power? They made and still make Class 8 chassis cabs but Detroit and Cummins still fill the fenders. They make the 466 (power stroke) and their big 6cyl but that stuff is for class 5 and down it appears.

Cat gave up the over the road engines a couple years ago.

The Cummins ISB (what is in the RAM) is found in everything from boats, heavy equipment, intermediate trucks, motor homes, etc. Even Ford offers the ISB in their F750 and LN series stuff. In fact you can get a F750 with an Alison as I understand it.

But at the end of the day Isuzu is the largest Diesel engine manufacturer in the world. Go figure.

And a carnival cruise ship is probably powered by a Fiat. LOL

So if your gonna pose...it's best to be authorized. :D

It seems to me the rest of the world figured out long ago, what we americans are just getting around to.

Diesels rock!!

I want an Audi A3 TDI sooooo bad. But I just have to be paitent.

Too many liberals here. They all want hybrid/electric cars!! (you guys keepin track of Tesla???) Maybe an electric truck will be next!!!

Navistar which is a division on international does have there own big rig/medium duty motor. It's built by navistar and badged with international stickers. It's the motor u will find in internatioals dt medium duty chassis. It's a great med duty motor but sucked ass in a heavy application. Some ofthe newer walmart internationals have there new heavymotor. It's supposed to be pretty good.

As far as hillbilly stacks go when u see them on fords and chebys u see it in a single stack application. At least that's how it is at all the diesel drags I go to.

If ur runnin a 5.9 and ur turned all the way up ur not going to get rid of ur soot prob. The only way to help it is to have a down turned exhaust tip. It's ugly but functional. Some one also mentioned running an additive. No one additive is better than the other IMO. I've tried them all. There all the friggen same. Most companies rebadge another companies stuff. RBP for example has no technology that is "theirs". There exhaust kit is magna flow there programmers are PPE's and I believe there intake is volants. This is fact by the way. Straight from the owners mouth. Good luck with ur soot prob. I blow alot of soot also and have not had this prob. U may have other probs with ur injectors or sensors. If ur running a bullydog. Get rid of it. Call ats in Colorado and run whatever they recomend. Bullydog has been having software issues with there newer stuff.

Worst idea. Duramax is the cleanest burning diesel. If your worried about soot get one of those. but The 7.3 powerstroke is the best diesel to date.
