Depends on the boat...the dump near me will take a 19ft low profile hull for $150....$75 if I chop it up.
I've done this about 4 times. There's a very interesting thing that happens when you have a trailer for sale...nobody is interested for more than $300. The exact opposite is true whenever you need a trailer...even the worst garbage with rotten tires is no less than $1000
YES regularly , but what i love the most is when I offer a FREE BOAT , "Bare hull" and get the call ...."what engine does it have " what drive "? ...............
The sellers were pretty upset when i told them, after handing the cash over, that a place less than a mile away from them was where I was dumping the boat for $108.00. Probably could have sold a bare trailer for $500 more.
So post a pic if your trailer! What’s the size boat on it?
Well, since you asked, I have become good friends with a dude that runs a Long term campground near pine flat (a nearby lake in Fresno County). Asked if I bought boats cause he had a tenant that was talking about selling his. He put me together with seller who told me he was the original owner but lost interest and wanted a grand for the package cause the trailer should be worth that. We settled on $750 if I pulled it down from the hill. No need to cut this one up, hull had hardly a scratch and the seller gave me all original paperwork. Trailer has tandem disks and they work !
