"Did Hillary Expose Nuclear National Secret In Last Night's Debate?

From: -- http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-10-20/

by Tyler Durden
Oct 20, 2016 6:30 PM

Hillary's comments in last night's debate about nuclear response times caught a lot of people off-guard. Here's what she said:

"The bottom line on nuclear weapons is when the President gives the order it must be followed. There's about 4 minutes between the order being given and the people responsible for launching nuclear weapons to do so. And that's why 10 people who have had that awesome responsibility have come out and, in an unprecedented way, said they would not trust Donald Trump with the nuclear codes or to have his finger on the nuclear button."

To summarize, Hillary Clinton just told any potential enemy out there A) how close they need to be to the target to launch their nuclear weapons (submarine, bomber) at current delivery system speeds and B) how fast future delivery systems need to travel in order to provide enough standoff while negating any retaliatory action by the President of the United States."..

have one SINGULAR GOAL, and that is to be elected .

Everything else is just 'obstacles in the path to being POTUS' .

For Mr Stainless;, If the Clinton's killed everyone they hated or didn't trust, there would be NO ONE around them to do their bidding ...............

It is very apparent (now) that the Clinton's DO NOT SERVE THEIR COUNTRY, by holding public office, they serve themselves ...........

This right here pretty much sums up her entire career.

if she was in the military, she would at the very least be getting a real ass chewing from her co for saying it.

I actually do believe response time is classified. I know when I was in the coast guard, me releasing info about how long it would take for aircraft stationed at X base could reach Y location was and that's something that is basic math. aircraft fly at x speed over Y distance.

The four minute time referenced with respect to the US nuclear launch protocols has only been public knowledge and written about for over 4 decades. They even teach it in political science classes in high school and college.

Obviously been a long time since I was in school I new you would clear this up for us lol! I'm sure that even isn't true about the four minutes our government can't be that careless with the info, I assume just for the cold war era purpose. I could see HRC giving the info out per an email seeing how she is so careful with her servers LMAO!!

Pop quiz! Who knows what this is without peeking?

Hint: I took a full tour of it inside and out, including the "brain" room guarded by double chambered steel doors and men with M16's.
All I needed was my secret clearance (which I had) and a tour application which took about 2 weeks to get approved.

Not that I saw.
I saw lots of Raytheon guys and 3 stripers with machine guns.
Hint: It tracks all airborne objects above Soviet bloc country above 2000', and plots trajectories and impacts.
It also tracks and catalogs ALL orbital objects around the earth. NASA contracts this data from the DOD/ Raytheon.
When I toured there was over 12,000 objects in orbit around the earth. Polar, stationary and otherwise.
There are 3 phones in the brain room under glass...a white phone to Cheyenne Mountain, a red phone to the WH, and another one that I dont know. None have dials or buttons on them. Direct lines.

Close!
They'd shoot Brown if he showed up there.
You need clearance just to get off the plane.

It's a crazy place. That facility, and even more so the power plant that runs it and the SAC installation there razor wires and patrolled 24/7.
One day we were working outside the fence and had our daily permit from the base commander, but the facility guards had not been notified. They had us on our faces with M16's on the backs of our heads and boots on our necks before we could blink. These were GI's that knew us and drank with us at the club the night before.

Alaska. The radar site up there

It's not radar exactly.
It transmits directional, and be computer programmed to simultaneously cover up to 5 separate "fences" (that's what Raytheon calls them) which are sort of like sections of coverage either seperate or overlapping and completely variable in size and shape.
The face that looks like a dish is actually thousands of "cells" that are receivers, with smaller transmitting probes in between. It's about 7-8 stories tall as I recall and has about 5 separate floors inside with techs working. I forget how many miles of wire they said were inside.

Here is behind the face.

It's "Cobra Dane"...on Shemya, AK.

The 2nd to last island on the Allutian chain, Attu being the last island. (Where the massacre of Japanese soldiers happened) You can see Attu from Shemya across a straight where the North Pacific meets the Bering sea. It's right under Russia, and is 1.5 x 2.5 miles in size.
It is generally considered the #1 priority target for any hostile missiles.

Along with the "Cobra Ball" SAC planes based out of Shemya, they comprise virtually all of the data obtained about any pre impact incoming objects. (Along with space borne objects)
Also on Shemya is the "Queen Match" facility which is abandoned. It is the silo and launch building where they shot off a missle one time only. It was an initial "Star Wars" defense missle that they tested with a fiber optic connection to a simulated incoming pattern on the Cobra Dane.
(They run simulations all the time)

The point of all this is that the 4 minute statement is irrelevant. That's the time from when the potus says go until a missle launches. The only difference it makes is no difference at all.
Unless we make a preemptive or initial launch, it's already too late.

There is no Country that can hit us without being destroyed. (MAD)
And any short range hit against an asset will take us much longer to formulate a response due to politics.

Hell, our admin now would probably send a missle full of cash as a response.

Here's a pretty good technical link to what it is and what it does.

https://mostlymissiledefense.com/2012/04/12/cobra-dane-radar-april-12-2012/

You can see that the mission has shifted from Cold War priorities to "other" priorities.

Mostly focused on space "debris".

This is code language. You can see that tests at certain azimuths and Incs show that the Dane, even under less than full power, is proven to detect objects in space down to 4 cm.
When recommissioned as an asset to the SSN somewhere around 2000, it basically is full time space surveillance now, even though the original Cold War purposing remains primary for budgetary reasons.

The Cobra Dane functions today as a very unique tool. Erickson is decommissioned other than the sac boys and the Dane. This isn't an accident. Raytheon and SAC are the only ones there. The mission, although still 100% relevant as missle defense, has shifted.
