Chris' guys at DS did a great job on my boat. It had some deep scratches and scuffs. They got 98% of the imperfections out of it and left it with a mirror finish.

That boat does look great.

So what are the advantages compared to a shit ton of wax? I wax my boat alot, its stored inside, is it going to be shinier? I still think Ill wax my boat, its kind of a sickness, or are you saying I dont have to for two years?

full sides on up, partial bottom

What about interior gel surfaces? also I have heard that it is actually detrimental to the ceramic if you apply wax later on? what about products like "HOT SAUCE" for regular wipe downs at the beach and on the trailer?

sorry for all the questions, just a lot of money for such a new and unproven product and process

You don't need hot sauce or wax so . . . we now have coatings for vinyl/leather too.
Chris has been ceramic coating boats for years and some customers are going on 3+ years with out reapplying.

I jumped on this deal. Been wanting to use Chris since last year but could never align the mechanic and him. I think he got me in for next Wednesday, which is perfect before the holiday weekend!

I have another question. What happens if I need gel repair later, would the coating need to be sanded off and could you tell if it was replied to the fixed area?

Sorry if it’s a stupid question.

Hang on....
So you dont need hot sauce or a water spot spray after use? When the lake water dries it leaves nothing behind?
I gotta know. Im so tired of wiping the toon down.

Can it be applied over shark skin coating?

If you let the water spots burn in and you can't remove them then bring it to us we will handle it, but in most circumstances it should be easy to clean up
No, it can not be applied over shark skin

Can it be applied to the polished toons? How does it hold up to bumpers if tying up a couple boats?

So I know you said I doesn't "need" hot sauce, but I for 1 like to wipe down the boat when I hit the sand bar or get back to the house, etc......
is wiping down with something like Hot sauce bad for the ceramic? or just as necessary for spot removal. there will be water to wipe off and products like those help to shine the boat up on the water.
my confusion is whether it is bad for it, or just not as useful.....

thank you
