Where are you fishing at? Was thinking about heading up, but snow forecast for Mammoth made me choose DS instead. Goof luck and tight lines

Parking the 5er at McGee Creek RV park, that's base camp till Friday May 2nd, Fish Crowley on Saturday & Sunday, drive my 2 boys half way home on Sunday night, going to meet my wife in Olancha, then hit it all, Monday, Little Virginia and Lundy Lake, Tuesday probably hit June Loop, and then reevaluate, break out the fly rods for some Hot Creek action on Wednesday, float tube McGee bay in the PM, Thursday flip a coin, I heard they planted some Monster Alpers in the Bishop Creek Drainage, Sabrina & Intake II.... sounds like a full week to me :D :D :D... My Great friend flew in from Hong Kong for this, he works for Mattel Toys and has missed the last few years, so we are making up for lost fishing time.... and today he called Happier than a Pig in Sh*t... his daughter was accepted (Scholarship) to the USC School of Engineering, Majoring in Astronomical Engineering.... She wants to be the First Female Astronaut on MARS    :D ... I'm just as proud, she's smarter than anyone I know, except her Dad & I :D:D

So Everyone have a Safe trip at Desert Storm... post up some good videos, I won't be missing you :D:D

I have another daughter graduating from Berkeley and will start medical school. It'll be 140K a year for the both of them. Thank god we planned for it,

I used to fish Grant Lake on the opener, mid lake off of the rocks on the north side. No crowds and great fishing.

Sounds like the perfect weekend. On your way to Olancha, check out Grays Meadows on Independence Creek about 8 mi west of the town of Indy. Thru the years we've pulled some nice fish out of there. Please post the results of your trip, photos, videos etc. Am I envious . . . Hell Yes ! Have a great trip.
