I'm looking to get a large shade structure built in my back yard and have contacted this guy, Desert Shade Systems. Has anyone used them, good/bad?

This is still the direction I want to go! I have to go back and have the flagstone deck dug up to get footings in, fuck!
I'll have to dig some stuff up too. I have completed plans for a stick and stucco structure but the price is too hard to swallow.

See 4kaluminum.com and instagram. We are not contractors, we design and
Make this 6061 and 6063T6 extruded aluminum material. Key is for Havasu is the amma2604 powder coating, only one in USA that uses this level of pc. And 2” x 10” beams up
To 33’ long. We have a new led system too, super bright rgbw even at 40’ long.

FYI; as far as we know, we’re the only company in North America that makes shade structure material powder coating with a spec of aama 2004. This new product is a twin wall insulated roof design. We spent 14 months developing this design. I can’t give you a photo of the end as we’re seeking Patent on this. No one has came up with an aluminum roof that doesn’t need sealant . It’s interlocking. We’re getting in more colors. Here’s one of the first ones done on what’s called a wood sublimation the wood sublimation is that a wrap made in Italy that’s placed over the aluminum bagged and put in the oven again. This car is a 10 year guarantee but will last many years more than that. Again, the same stuff is available in Matte black, espresso, and in about two months white. You get the look of wood in a sandalwood or oak color with no maintenance. We don’t buy anything from a distributor. most every contractor does except our 200 trained contractors

we purchase, design, and source from five mills throughout the world.

Just a little sidenote about power coating specification it’s a great like Havasu story. So about seven years ago before we starting this company we’re overseas and we’re talking to some great people that are a massive aluminum mill and they’re telling us about was commonly referred to us 10 year Powder Coat how they export to Australia a lot United States and everywhere and hold up fabulous. Ok, I asked him if you ever heard of Lake Havasu City Arizona with a UV light is 13 and 14 sometimes and what’s better than that 10 year. We didn’t want to be like anyone else, and of course, an upgrade and powder coating quality is very involved with chemistry storing of the powder in a temperature humidity control environment, and they shall live of it. This is quite a science I found out.

In the end, I can miss my wife who is the real expert with 33 years in the Aluminum industry to use this Powder Coat since we had a house at the time in Lake Havasu,

knowing that our primary customers would be in the southwest United States. Every single part we’ve made right down to a cheap ass bracket has the same 2604 spec. And that was a foundation of a company sticking to this high-quality specification, and the honesty and ethics of our company followed up by the best customer service will deal with contractors. You guys in business know exactly what I’m talking about. Just 5 1/2 years now we’ve grown to of course the second location in corona and distributors in Reno, Los Angeles, Dallas, and about to open in Houston.

FYI; nothing we sell is made in China aside from the LED lighting systems as I found out every LED is imported from China so that’s the only exception we had to make buying from a communist country. It is what it is.

So much for being semi retired😎
