Anything fun to see or do in Denver? Good eats? Locked in for an Airbnb and flights for a concert but sounds like the concert may get cancelled because a couple and members got Covid. Coors your is closed for the vid so that’s out of the question.

*we wont have a car. So close enough to Uber

Not Denver but close, Boulder.
Only open on Saturdays.

And if you are in Boulder the drive up Flagstaff Road is beautiful.

My brother lives in Lafayette, near Boulder. He says the museum is absolutely a must see if you're a car guy.

Rent a car. I was there two years ago with Mr.DB for his work function. He was busy all day, so I took myself on adventures 😊 I would highly recommend a drive to Estes Park to hike in the Rocky Mountain National Park. It is breathtaking. Get there early, hike, and then hit the town for lunch. I was back in Denver in time for dinner.

Rock Cut Brewing is a cool place as you come out of the park. https://www.rockcutbrewing.com/

Your mention of Estes Park reminded me of the 1976 flood in Big Thompson Canyon. A year's worth of rain fell in a four hour period, and the devastation was incredible. The loss of life was terrible, 144 people died as the water roared down the canyon.

1up arcade bar is cool lots of old pinball machines and cheap drinks. My favorite jazz bar El chapultec closed last year but the music scene in Denver is strong. Wander around down town and follow your ears. Have a great time!

Where are you staying? Go to LoDo Denver, tell uber 16th st mall, more than enough to see and do for the night between bars, restaurants and music.

Lol. I can tell it’s been a while since a lot of the people commenting have been in Denver.

Unless you have a specific destination in mind I would strongly encourage you to avoid downtown Denver. It has become a homeless encampment and there are tents everywhere. They recently closed the cities main park which is located between the Denver courthouse and Capital Building. The park has a huge rodent problem (plague level sh*t) and was covered in human feces and drug paraphanelia.

Most of Denver and Colorado are open for business. Masks are not required. Someone mentioned Casa Bonita, it’s one thing that’s still closed and won’t open for a while.

Even if you’re not going for a concert, Red Rocks is still a cool place to hike around. The city of Morrison is also pretty cool. If you want to get into the mountains but still be relatively close to the city Evergreen is a cool town, we do Harley rides there every couple weekends when the weather is nice.

The Highlands area is close to Lakewood and has tons of neat restaurants to check out. If you’re open to a little drive, Fort Collins is a great place to spend a day and my favorite place in Colorado. Main Street Disney was inspired by downtown Fort Collins and at night time you can really feel it.

Estes Park is a very popular place and a bit of a tourist trap but people seem to love it. It starts getting pretty cold there this time of year so dress appropriately. You can get to Rocky Mountain national park from Estes but most of the park is already closed and won’t open until next spring.

I’m not sure what kind of music you’re into but there are a lot of cool concert venues here, even if your Red Rocks show gets cancelled you’ll most likely be able to find a concert somewhere else.

Since you will only Uber, What about Wings Over the Rockies air museum. Kinda odd location for an air museum but the area was Lowry Air Force base before all the development. Maybe the Hammonds Candy factory tour? It’s not like it was years ago in the old building and It’s a short deal but it will kill some time and then you can buy some good stuff from the candy store.
