Any suggestions for Def delete in IE or Havasu? What’s the rough cost?

What type of truck? I could get you a ballpark AZ cost.
What I mean is, "if someone were to do it", the general costs may be dependent on software only, or physical delete, meaning stealth or the 🖕 da' man version.

2015 Chevy Duramax. Guessing whatever would be easier to reverse just in case we decide to move the truck back to so cal.

Bootleg smog certs are getting harder to come by, and more expensive. But after you delete and tune you’ll wonder why you waited so long. The results are amazing.

Just went through this last year with my lml. ###### from ###### diesel directed me to go stealth delete. I went with a tune that retards the dpf, def and egr. Then for the fuel system I did his lift pump and supplemental filter. I wasn't looking for crazy performance just wanted to help that motor last as long as I could. I have to say the truck is right were it should be and I'm super happy

... yes I went back to edit that, last thing I want is another small business owner to be targeted

That is a violation of federal law. The EPA in their suit agaisnt many tuners, had pulled language from online forums. As stated above PM is better. That being said, careful going fast over bumps. Things may fall off. The symptoms include: a deeper tone that sounds like a jet fighter when accelerating. A throttle that is oddly different from stock, too snappy. Your exhaust temperature will be faulty, far too low. In other words the truck will run horribly, like older diesels but with more power.

DO NOT POST CONTACT INFORMATION TO A SHOP THAT DOES THIS ON HERE!!

If you know if a shop you can let it be known and someone can send you a pm. Do not share the information unless you know the person or they are verified..

Please remember rdp ranks high with google. We don’t want someone getting fined

Dont do it, take care of your truck and it will run and last. I know of many that have north of 250k and they still
run great. I like not having the smell of fuel and no hassles no matter where I live and they run great stock.

You my friend have never been stuck in limp mode multiple times because a DEF sensor failed to recognize that your DEF tank is not almost empty after you just refilled it, or that your truck is going into regen mode less than 200 miles and again less than 200 miles and every time it does that you see your fuel mileage dropping further and further down into single digits. And then having the dealer tell you, “there are no check engine lights or stored codes - everything is running as it should”. This has nothing to do with taking care of your truck.

And it always seams to happen when pulling a grade with a trailer !

The whole thing is an easy mistake, you have to watch out and be careful.

If somebody mistakenly was shipped a downpipe-back exhaust, i've heard it's as simple as having the stock exhaust removed from the downpipe-back, disconnecting the sensors, putting die-electric grease in the harness connections and zip-tying a plastic bag over them, zip-tying them up safely out of sight on top of the frame, disconnecting the 9th injector plug, Disconnecting the DEF injector, filling the DEF tank with distilled water (ive seen the DEF tank fall off by mistake too...), installing new exhaust system, and then flashing tune with a few items mistakenly changed by a careless EFI Live operator, possibly due to bad eyesight or a glitchy mouse.

The mistake happens easier when the truck is on a lift.

Make sure none of that happens.
