F15
Thought it was a 35 at first but trailing edge of the wings looks different.

I’ll go with F15 as well. The nose from the engine intakes forward seems to match up to the -15 better than the others.

And I’m sure it’s not completely planar in the photo (ie it’s rolling in a turn) so it’s possible it’s not, but that’s my best guess.

F35 is loud? A single engine stealth ( or stealthy if you prefer) fighter?

The -15 with twin engines is loud and they do nothing to try and make that stealthy.

The 35 is ridiculously loud for a single engine fighter. Makes the 16 sound quiet in comparison.

My son in law works on the F35. He is a mechanical engineer....I've seen one up close (not saying this is an F35) but either way, they are bad ass!

Great video!!

I'd love to go to the loop and watch some time.

Wonder what kind'a G's they're pulling in the S turns.

I have no idea. The guy's video I posted has a good channel covering the Mach loop. Lot's of different types of aircraft from various Nato countries.

It's an F-35. Location would settle the debate as well though.

Moisture vaporizing due to pressure changes while maneuvering.

👍 the wing tips generate vortexes (highly energized spinning air) and like you said this causes a very low pressure which causes the moisture in the air to come out of solution, basically generating a cloud.

Crazy fact about how powerful vortexes are, iirc the concorde when in takeoff and landing and other low speed flight generated almost 100% of it's lift from a giant vortex generated above each wing, it did not use traditional laminar air flow across a wing foil to generate low pressure on the top of the wing like every other normal plane.

When you see all of those tiny little fins and winglets on an f1 car they are all there to help migrate the vortexes outboard of the other aero, or direct them to somewhere they can harness that energy usefully.

Vortexes create a lot of drag, so if you can shrink them it gains a lot of efficiency, this is why you see the little vertical winglets on new passenger airlines, they take the vortex that would be generated from the wing tip, and move it up to the tip of a smaller wing tip.
