I was talking to Ricky at Maxed out Marine and we are supposed to take his first build out here shortly and rub it!

In the meantime though the second hull is done and was send over to Detail specialties to get it cut and buffed Rigging to start shortly!

I believe this one will be rigged with a single 300R. Unless of course someone wants to build it how they want!

For some reason I keep picturing this with twin 300’s on the back some tabs, and a L shaped bench behind the driver with a reversible passenger seat.

Does the DCM share a bottom with the 21 RC Schiada?

Thats how i would do it. That 21 shockwave at the la boat show that a member bought with that interior setup really impressed me.

Really nice. Whats the price tag?

No, the DzcM is the old Howard Cruiser mood which shares the same bottom as the Spectra 20.

Danny Donahue (BB572) purchased the mold From Gene and produced three or four boats. He passed away in an electrical accident in his home. Incidentally my son Daniel is named after him.

His father Dan senior retained the molds and Ricky is now building some boats. Ricky has been fairly tight lipped about his intentions for the future with the company.

I may be the only one and I truly understand how good an OB is, but I think it would wreck the lines of that thing. It is so slick I would give up some performance to keep it looking sleek.

Not a fan of black because of the sun/heat but that is a very nice looking boat, love that trailer. In retrospect Howard should have keep building them.

As an update to the thread apparently Dan senior sold the molds to Maxed Out Marine, so it is theirs free and clear now.

This boat will have a 300R and is priced at 89,900.00 on this trailer. It’s currently slated to be left hand drive with a foot throttle (non dts)

I don't believe I have seen the third one yet. Just the red one and this one.

HMMMM. I could have swore there was a an identical one to the red one but blue where the red is. I just called my son he said they only laid up the red one and the black one. maybe I was dreaming this.

That is so pretty just the way it is. It will be a crime to put cleats and hardware on all that smooth glass.

Well after seeing the red one with the OB, I can't say I hate it.

Such a great looking boat. I would love to have one of these.

These look bitchin. Are any of them I/O's? Gives me motivation to go through my Howard RC and re gel it. Timeless Hot rod boats.

I would love to see this finished with a 300r, black removable ski pylon and black swim steps at the waterline. The u-shaped seating would be a nice touch as well. Yes this boat is sleek and sexy, and would do well powered up. That being said, the majority of these boats served as the family mule. They were used to teach countless kids to ski, boat and generally love spending time with family.

I hope someone buys this and runs for generations to come.

The schiada will be slower in smooth water due to the dcm having a shallower V. In the rough schiada will be faster.

A schiada is a 20* deadrise right?

What kinda of numbers did andrew end up seeing out of his 21?

I just don't know about that much for that style boat. At that price Lavey Craft will build you a 21 XCS with a 300R and that's loaded.

The DCM 's look Bitchen no mater what power you have inn or on them .
Not a fan of the 3 axel under the boat . Just looks odd . Maybe if it had 13" wheels .

That three axle is from the blue vdrive Danny built. The new owner built a dolly style trailer for it. It wasn’t intended to be offered with the boats.

I believe a Schiada is 15 degree dead rise and Howard, Spectra are 12 degree
