I am starting to think that. The negative news is taking its toll IMO. I know a few die hard Trump guys in Carlsbad and they all are starting to second guess how Trump is managing C19. They all stated, he needs to flip the script and demonstrate why we voted for him last time and stop the social media attacks he has been doing and get judged based on actions. He words are being spun against him more and more, to the point conservatives are now second guessing the guy.

MSM and the Democratic Party is going to use the economy and C19 impacts to continually second guess decisions he has made. Playing Monday morning QB, is so much easier for them.

Just a couple of my own thoughts:
Perhaps Congress, the senate, etc should have spent the last 3 1/2 years working with local governments to solve the homeless problem & racial disparities (and all the others that suddenly came up) instead of wasting time trying to impeach President Trump.
I’ve said for years the state run nursing homes are a disgrace and since more than half of the CV19 deaths happened in them, I’d sure point that fact out every chance possible.

Anything is possible. When the left controls all the information out there they can manipulate things however they want. That is why in my opinion, the face to face debates are so important. Pretty hard for them to edit his live comments and answers to questions. If you ask me, that is where he gained his traction during the 2016 election, and a huge part of why he was elected. I think he needs to highlight everything up to the Pandemic, then really highlight how the left would love for this country to run as it has been since the Pandemic, and then leading right into Riots and Looting, which they support.

The administration removed the mandatory spending caps raising spending by just shy of 1 trillion per year, and enacted the tax cut.

In my view, doing both was inconsistent with even the lowest bar of smaller government, fiscal responsibility and conservatism.

With a 4 trillion dollar deficit this year and no desire by either side to stop the spending; regardless of who wins the election the bill will have to be paid with higher taxes, lower growth and lower standards of living for Americans.

Totally agree on that statement. I think he just wants to lock down his second term because after that his run is over. His first term was proving he was capable of running this county even though many didn't believe a "game show host" could do it. His second term will be exposing the swamp with full force.
