[WTS] Custom 1995 Chevy Crew Cab Short Bed

Truck was built by Richard Hammond of River Bottom Auto Body in Blythe. He felt that Chevrolet should have made a half ton, short bed, crew cab pickup. They hadn't at the time. The truck has a 355hp Vette ZZ4 engine with Tuned Port Injection and a 700R4 trans. Disk brakes all around with a 454SS rear end. This truck was shown in the Chevrolet display at the 1996 SEMA Show.

Yes I remember that! It has 179,000 miles on it now and I had the Trans rebuilt 1 year ago. Has a new radiator. Just had the aluminum heads re-done a few months ago.

Yea 95 was first year for round dash but must have been only 1500 models.

1999 c2500 only year Chevy made the CC shortbed. 5.7L magna charged with the 4L80e trans. Cowl does function. Fun truck. 20mpg highway..

Thanks. I removed the shell iIhave a cover for the bed also. The green grew on me...

When I purchased the cab new in a crate from G.M. it did not have an interior. Stretched a half ton x-cab frame. I purchased a 1994 Suburban total with less than 10,000 miles and took out the dash and seats. Carpet and headliner were ordered new from G.M. Drove the truck for 8 years and had lots of fun with it. I hate to see Carter sell it, as he has cleaned it up and taken great care of it.

I have always LOVED this body style Chevy! Owned four so far and wish I could add this one to the stable. By far, the best years 88-98. Here was my last one I sold to buy my 2016. Still regret it.
