No press, no problem...let's do some redneck shit! Of course putting it back together will be done with precision!

Rolled Up a Meatloaf for Pops & threw it on the Smoker.
2 1/2 hours & it came out great !
Got LUCKY baking some cornbread. (usually mines so crumbly, you have to eat it with a spoon). 😂
Added some instant mashed potatoes (Lazy I know) , & some grilled asparagus.
Yummy.

It was a nice day in Carson Valley. Did some shopping for household items for our friends then went sightseeing. I’d imagine with the talk of bad weather on it’s way this is the calm before the storm.

Here is my boating content for 2023 to keep the mods off my back this year. I hope that you all are getting your content in before the deadline!!!!

I was told this is the oldest town in NV. Genoa NV. I like the term “Thirst Parlor”

I just know that my poor truck is looking to get back to Havasu ASAP. Those icicles are tears of being left out in the cold nights. LOL

Hope he's hiking with a few buddies.........
Pretty sure he always has at least one friend with him. he hadn't been to daring because he didn't a beacon until xmas
He's been reading up like crazy on survival technics/tactics in case of the worst. But like he told his mom, it's something
he really likes and as long as he takes the best precautions and is prepared that's about all he can do.

Location please... Thanks.
That’s Cayucos right by my house , not unusual for that creek to look like that but there’s more flooding than I’ve seen in 34 years living here close by - here’s a video one of my buddies just sent me from his house

For those of you that know the Ventura area. This is on Victoria ave looking towards Oxnard from Olivas park drive. The Santa Clara river went over the banks and over Victoria.

Dang.... your place is far enough off shore with a bit of elevation as I recall so no necessity to sandbag? Thats a lotta water

We’re sea level but a lot of beach out in front of us so no flooding at our house from the ocean and just regular heavy rain run off at the house. No problems as of yet except a leaky slider door. 👎

Yeah I remember the shore is way on down there....Funny thing I've noticed in my hood.... we have a couple new homes that were built in past year and these two storms with their heavy heavy downpours have caused leakage. I know this cause new owners have placed plastic tarps on third floor rooftop decks. Imagine buying a brand new custom for appx $8M and after a heavy rain you've got water streaming out of your bedroom ceiling stereo speakers. These builders are getting an earful I bet.

Yeah that's a tricky one, I never mastered it. I had a couple random long shutter speed pics turn out good but I couldn't repeat it but this was back in 35mm days
Yeah , I’d imagine film is waaay harder.
I’ve got the gear… just ‘No Idear’. LOL.
I don’t have a good ‘Eye’ for photography.
I think you either have it, or you don’t …. Can’t be taught or learned.

It can be learned by looking at photos, like wildlife photos or pictures of flowers..... as you walk around and look at flowers or a dog playing fetch you will start to see photographic moments as it's happening

This was yesterday, we were cleaning up smaller mudslides.

We couldn't get to this mud slide that has cut off a house
