The best type "Paid Off"

That is the best brand, right there.

That is why it took me so long to get back into a boat. I just didn't need another payment, I had to wait until I had the cash.

Sitting amongst all the newer, glitzy boats in Steamboat, 3 dunes or the channel, I get that little smirk on my face knowing mine is mine. It's going to stay that way also.

Love the colors on that! Open bow??

Well, thank you! We still like the colors too, after 10 years. Have to thank my wife for the lime green, she really wanted that and it came out nice. And yes, it is open bow. Part of the bargaining process . . . she got the walk-thru open bow, and I got the Merc 525. :D

Would be interesting to see a poll of what everyone is driving as of today. Maybe RD can arrange that?

Brummett built 572 n/a. Runs low 70's but haven't really haven't tried to get the most out of it. I just run a 24p 5blade since mostly I cruise and pull the kids.

Yeah I feel your pain! These things are tanks! My 240 needs some more ponies! I'd like to get it to touch 80. I know 2FF was able to get 72-75 ish out of a 525efi with a 26p solas I'd assume with the right prop and that 572 she should scoot

There is some debate about his speed. It was never on gps from what I understand. I would guess 750 would get you there. I was all set to get it to 80 but like I said I got little ones and a wife that gives me the look at about 65. Once this engine goes lame I'll throw some more power at it but for now I'm not going to throw more money at it.
