The Father’s Day river trip tradition continued this year. The wife and i gassed up and hit the water Friday. Shot up to Pirates to meet up with friends/neighbors. My wife busted my chops the entire way to go faster. When we got back and we “topped off” the tanks off she understood why it’s not a all out trip on a regular basis.
All three kids and my dad rolled in late Friday to early Saturday. Saturday was a quiet day with a lurker Jim/his family and another neighbor ran down from Needles.
Nothing better than having everyone back on the water together.
Someone got his boaters license. Poor kid didn’t get in until after 2am.. Delayed flight got him.
The 2 without license got shotgun in the sun duty. Not sure they were complaining.
RDP flag has seen better days.
Some quiet time at 3 dunes, or at least that’s where i think we went. Did some floating with dad and the kids.
The heat and peer pressure finally got to my wife. Can’t believe she actually got in. She’s a firm believer in the Lake Kraken.
Saturday night at the Nautical.
Got a close fly by heading back from Topock Sunday morning. Pics don’t do it justice. They were damn close.
Kid really loves some trim.
