So as most of you know we just moved into our new home in norco and for the most part when I can I try to use members for the work I can’t get done myself. There’s been a few sponsors that’s have really helped along the way and not only do I appreciate it I would also recommend them in a heart beat. Andy and Adam with palomar did a great job on our solar in chino and were a lot of help in answering questions when I needed to sell. The new owners are also very happy. We plan on going solar in norco I just have a few other things that are ahead on the list. Kevin I think Arizonakevin on the boards helped me with insurance. That’s something I really appreciate because I don’t know much about it and needed it done quickly for the purchase. He made it super super easy and I really appreciate how he handled everything and made it as painless as possible for me. My other thread kind of went sideways which wasn’t the intention but riverbound has taken care of me while living in chino and they are going to be doing my whole house and unit here in norco. I know I’m not the easiest person to work with but you need to remember behind every good man is a good woman. that woman is pregnant and wanted to make sure she was getting a deal. Ive just got to finish up some paper work and hopefully we can get that started pretty soon. I would recommend dynamic to any of my friends. (Even the union ones :p) so again thank you to everyone who has helped transform this house into our home and thank you anyone who has helped me out in the past. RD Sux!!

looking forward to working with you. Better get on it. I know momma doesn’t want that new baby coming coming home to that old AC and ducting. [emoji6]

What is this whole house air purifier deal? We started talks on this awhile back, but are these things expensive?

RD

The purifier and filter are about $1300 installed. Filters last a year and bulbs last 18-24 months. Filters are about $60 and bulbs are about $80 online (for the DIY type).

Is there an app to access it when you're away from home?

This would be for my house, not for the river. Thanks.
Yes there's an app for phones and tablets as well as an online portal to access your thermostat remotely. It also shows useage etc.

Nice. I may want one of these eventually.

I have a whole house alarm install I need to call you about. I'll be in touch soon.

All the old crap ducting was removed and the ducting system was completely redesigned today. We will be installing all new ducting tomorrow and finishing everything up. The family will be all nice and comfy tomorrow night. [emoji106]

We finished up Vic’s install last week. Thing runs awesome heats and cools the house very well. I stopped by a couple times during the project but missed him. He’s got a real zoo going on there. Goats, chickens, dogs, fish.

The house has quite a few add ons which usually result in hot or cold areas. Not his house. [emoji106]

New unit installed.

Indoor air quality box. We built this to make filter changes and uv light changes more accessible. This will really help control the dust over standard filters.

Yes. Zero performance benefit to replacing the plenums and now he doesn’t have to do roofing modifications. Ideally we would convert to downshot but then we would have line of sight issues.

That’s non union for ya :p just kidding. Dynamic did a great job and we are super stoked with the new system. In all honesty I’ve never felt a system that performed as well as our is. The guys are super neat and didn’t destroy my house. The whole team is super friendly and really awesome people to do business with. The installers are very down to earth and super easy to bullshit with. The office girls are very good with updates and making sure everything was communicated well. I’m kind of kicking myself in the ass for not doing the alarm system but money is getting tighter than I like to admit. I’m sure eventually we are going to do it.

Thanks for the compliments. We are very proud of our guys they really care about the quality of work they turn out. And making sure the systems run perfect.
Yours works exceptionally well, considering all the additions. first time I walked the house I was a little nervous we would have some issues with balanced temp. But the guys nailed it.

I will keep you on our connected home mailing list [emoji6]

I bought my wife an echo plus thing for Christmas. Supposedly that controls the ecobee. I’m hoping I can also use it to control the lights and the fans. They all have remotes so maybe...? Would the alarm be able to tie into all that stuff? Trying to get the house modern but not really sure how all this stuff works

Yes. Alexa will tie into alarm. Fans and lights will need special switches or plugs. The nice thing about this stuff is you can continuously add to it. So don’t have to go full hog on it right up front. Makes it work with pretty much any budget.
