$100 bucks off $1799

makes 225lbs day in prime conditions, stores 75lbs

I typically turn mine off when I’m not there - but overnight the hopper is full in the morning!
Plus I bag some ice, so I dont have to use it for a quick trip.

I have had the same one for 2-3 years no issues!

Many board members have ice machines, I have two. If you get a used Ice-O Matic, or Manatoic it will last for many years. Add to that parts are available for at least 10+ years. Most common breakage is th water pump. Good luck in sourcing any Chinese made parts. Get a 200 lb machine used for $500-1,000 and it will last,, I have had one unit for 15 years, just replaced a $100 pump in that time. I would always suggest a half cube model. never a flaker. This one is a steal! I have one for 6 years, flawless.

What I learned is when buying used ask for the serial number.

It will tell you what year it was built. If it’s coming up ok 10 years I wouldn’t buy it.

And as mentioned above if you’re going to buy new buy a name brand one.

On USA made serial numbers, the for two numbers are year made. And yes, keep it less than 10 years.
So the pound per 24 hours is generally based open a 75 dedree
Ambient temp and 70 degree inlet water temperature. So when in havazoo or Vegas, subtract 25%+.
