Like normal I stack the cards pretty high when it comes to what a man can get done in a day , and still get a bit of play time ! All in all I am ready for the rain. Seems like everything I build has a story of some sort and if its worthy I'll share it. Some of these items that got finished or moved forward were 5-10 year projects , sometimes life just gets busy.. NOW if you have some of these unfinished projects here is your inspiration to get them DONE !!!

So this is a BAHNER I have been restoring over the last 8 years , every year it gets a little time and now its to the I AM MOTIVATED stage.. I put in new stringers ,transom and floors and now it has some paint ! I designed the paint around some fabric I had picked out for some future project, I would like to use just a wisp of this fabric in the boat interior.. I have also wanted to make a run at Barrett Jackson with my work so when I unmasked this boat I kinda felt like I might be onto something with the overall look and thought that with the right vehicle in front of it ( to match) It might make a good candidate for some of that drunk money at BJ.. I secured what I thought would be a cool tow rig ( squarebody dually longbed dropped) and was semi motivated. THEN the ultimate tow rig was placed before me and now I have secured that piece of the puzzle.. I will share what it is in a later post here for your approval..

Sorry.... I don't get the.... "NOW..... here is your inspiration" part. I got stuff done, but my skill set is basically towing that thing to the landfill. NOT that it should be towed there, but not even close to my skill set. Show me a picture of half done and complete of the boat........ THAT's MOTIVATION !!!!!!

***EDIT*** - from the original post to his updated pictures....... I was typing the above . . lol lol LOOKS GREAT..... still not my skill set, but I'm motivated now.

This item was about 15 year deal , WHY ? well it started out being a chassis for a rolling pit cart I was building for our pro-mod drag boat team. 2008 hit and our racing came to an end and this unfinished chassis sat in the corner many years. We were getting ready to move our fab shop and It was throw it out or do something with it time.. I decided it would also make a bad ass rolling kitchen and had several new components stacked away for such a project.. Now it is done, beautiful and rerady for a new home in some ones stacker trailer isle !

This was also a couple year project WITH story , So I bought a couple of these to play with in the parking lot on sundays..First thing I did was order bigger motors only to realize they were impossible to mount in an effective manner, and they were heavy..So a bit of backtracking and put safe motors in them . Of course on the one for myself I had it powdercoated and chromed and so forth.. Finally got enough free time one sunday to finish off a few things and give it a test..

Did one lap and the chain came off ,pulled over and tightened the motor and ready to rock.. So i start the damn thing with my foot in front of the rear tire to prevent creep , pulll the cord ,starts on first pull and it is at half throttle ( week throttle spring) the damn thing climbs my foot and takes off without me , I dive after it only to miss and score some palm rash. Now its heading down into a loading ramp where it shoots out the other side like a Estes rocket straight up , it lands on one rear wheel and launches forward 30 feet and WHACK right int a building awning post....all of this in like 3 seconds..go inspect cart and it is now bent down as if I dropped a wrecking ball in the seat..No time to be pissy just put it back in the trailer for another day...At 60 years old you might think I would have better uses of my time , you would be WRONG !!

This project got done as well , should have been a couple week deal for the lobby of our RV shop and then BAM goes out for upholstery and ends up in upholstery jail for a couple years so I go rescue it and have someone that delivers less bling do the work and now DONE ! a side note to this is the side tubes are made out of a pallet of nascar exhaust tubing I purchased in North Carolina with my nascar truck..

Also trying to do a complete revamp of this house and property I bought a couple years ago. I have now paid a few different people to not give me anything that I wanted as far as remodel design goes.. I thought I was specific enough with the outline to get close and I was wrong.. So I took the time to create this model so there is NO confusion as to what I am after..fun little project though !!

Another item that got done is now off the list . In an effort to get some power, gas, music and water to all areas of my 4 acres I was able to trade a friend (member here) for some trench work and drainage planning. He has a Skater that the trailer was in need of new paint ..HIs trailer is done and my dirt work is done..

This got built over the summer for the race team. One of those things you under assume the time it will take until you dive in..I thought a weekend deal right , not even close. Unless something like this has precision drawings to build it your never sure of the timeline. It usually doesnt pay off to digitally design a one-off sometimes..If ever I think I can build 2 or more then it does get drawings and archived.. Anyway this piece sits over the fuel tank in between rounds so the motor can get serviced in a efficient manner, for the most parts it has mirror image tools on both sides with a few exceptions..
