This reminds me anyone know when the RC boat races are in Havasu? Stumbled across them one year. It was a blast watching the races

It was @namba, I think, was his name that always knew the dates and participated. Not sure what ever happened to him. Thought he had a boat repair shop in havasu.

They ran a few weeks ago but I’m sure there is another one coming up. I remember one last year it seemed to be between spring break and before summer was full swing. It was warm enough that we could hang by the water.

Last week I stopped by the r/c track at Sara Park and this group of older guys were racing rally cars around the oval track. Talk about an absolute blast. Going to pick one up from the hobby shop in Yuma when I’m down there later this month and join the fun.

@Namba is still around the forum, he just changed his screen name to @Guest I believe. And yes he has a boat repair shop in Havasu. I think it is call Havasu Boat Specialties but don't quote me on that one.
