Its easier to buy a small used one. You might even get a blade with it. Where you need the cutting done?

Emmett ID, slab from 1959, just a slab, nothing fancy.
Best bet is to rent a walk behind saw from United Rentals or Sunbelt Rentals. I have a saw but I'm 1000 miles away.

Hire a pro, you'll probably save money. Can't tell you how many times I've gone to complete the job that a homeowner started

How thick is the slab? I recently had to cut about 5 linear feet through a 4" slab....2 cuts, to create a 6" wide trench. I bought a segmented diamond blade and threw it on my old all metal Porter Cable worm drive circular saw....went through it like a sheet of plywood. Smacked it with a sledge hammer a few times and it came out.
