Has anyone had dealing with these telemarketers? I guess they got my name from Camping World(which im pissed at BTW for just giving out to anyone), and they keep leaving me messages that I have a complimentary stay at an RV park somehwere. :rolleyesThis place is listed in Parker. The number is 928-854-8111

They call all hours of the day/night. Messages, no messages, 5-8 times a day. Seems like a boiler room. Anyone know the scoop? How many RV parks out there market like this?

In Parker just 1. Aren't you lucky.

You can mention the name we all know the place if full of Emeralds.:p

This happened back in 1998 when we bought our motorhome. Relentless, so I caved and stayed there a weekend and did the tour. No we did not buy.

I bought a new toyhauler in 2010 and one of the supposed perks was to get this "Colorado Adventures" BS. The sales people they have working for them are ruthless! They will call and call and call and pretend they are your best friend/s and some chick who works for them began to stalk me (she sounded cute on the phone, but was freaking hideous)... The word "No thanks" means nothing to them... I finally set up a weekend to go to Parker (had no intention of going) and never showed. They called and asked WTF and a politely told them, I said "NO" how many times, please just delete me already and that was the last of that.

We bought a membership on a resale. When we went in to do paperwork they were doing the Russell which we didn't buy. Annual dues arent bad considering for us it works out to about $2 a night. We have only used Emerald Cove some Fri ends go to Julian often. They are relentless

Yep and in the summer there is 3 miles worth of boats triple stacked. They must have 500+ spaces.

Closer to 1000.

I've been a member for 10 years. Went there as a kid with friends families, that's when I fell in love with Parker. Don't have the money for a house, but always wanted a place at the river. I spend less than $800 per year between dues and storage to have a trailer at the river. I'll never forget when we bought it and the sales pitch. Wife and I walked in and said "ok, we'll take it" Lady said "oh, let me give you a tour". No thanks. Give me the cheapest, base model membership you've got". "Don't you want to hear about our other parks? and blah blah blah". "Nope, want to go play on the river. Tell me where to sign".

This place is a lot better than most of the public camp grounds. Not as many drunks and teens staying up all night. Notice I said not as many, it is still the river after all :D

We also use Julian, it's great to be able to to go camping and only pay for gas. No reservation needed.

They are very persistent and don't give up, last time there the guy next to us and just bought a trailer somewhere and got suckered into the free camping deal, he was pissed and i listened to him going off for a hour, needless to say they never came by and bothered him:D. I have stayed there for many years but stopped the last few and have just started going again, place don't seem as crowded to me i have gotten waterfront a few times this past summer.
