Is there anything more ridiculous than the mandates requiring the adoption of electric Class 8 trucks? I know there's a lot of competition for that honor, but this one is near first place.

Oregon has begun to require a percentage of new truck sales to be electric, which will progress from 7% in 2025 to 40% in 2032. This is how Daimler reacted, and the experience of one operator that did a test haul with one.
