Oh I have a shit ton still. I have 2 totes that are full to the brim. Probably a couple thousand lights easily. I do always look after Christmas to see what deals are out there.

Love it. But do you worry about your boat being out like that? Looks like a really nice boat.

The boat is basically a bare hull waiting for restoration. The block is a rusty old cracked mark4 I use for mockups and the other stuff is fine outside for a month.

Got our lights put up this weekend, went out to check it out and it was sprinkling. Guess it does rain in CA.

Same, which is why I hire someone now. Haha. Kind of the norm around here…at least on the roof.

Growing up my Dad hated putting up Xmas lights with a passion. He would inevitably crater to Mom's desire for him to put them up "for the kids." He traveled a lot for work and one year I guess he decided he was not putting them up no matter what. He let Mom know she could put the lights up if she wanted them up for us kids. Which in a naturally stubborn fashion she went out and put them up and later took them down. Fast forward to next Xmas Dad asked Mom if she would be putting up the lights and her response was... No. That was the last time any lights were put up at our house growing up.

I actually even bought them one of those deals you put out in the yard and it projects lights up on your house a few years ago and I don't think they've ever put it out.

My neighborhood doesn't have street lights, we each have a yard light so lights don't look that good. It's very washed out. At least that's why I tell myself I don't put them out lol.
