I don't know how many of you have actually thrown a ball from the mound, but it is very common for non-pitchers/baseball players to throw the ball into the dirt since they are throwing "Down". So, they are told to throw for the catcher's head to compensate for it. The common mistake is that they throw high...really high. Chris Rock is built like Kim Hanson....I'm surprised he could get the ball over his head!
