Could not have had better parking space yesterday. Wife in for annual maintenance check up.
Really impressive set up for providing emergency chopper services in our area. Small but well equipped landing pad at back side of Medical Center, 2 choppers parked,crews checking & fueling obvious these people know what they doing. One chopper was preparing to take off with a patient already loaded but did not seem to be emergency. Crew was 3 young ladies.
No big deal,just enjoyed watching the preparation and take off up close.

Its unfortunate that they have to fly so frequently, but if you need something major you're going to Vegas or Phoenix and thats a hell of a bus ride.

I watched my mom put into one these right where you are parked, flying to Phoenix. 2nd worse day of my life.

(2) Bell 407 GXP's I think. Very nice. Anytime helicopters are around, I turn into a kid.
