This Friday I will be traveling to Parker Az. using the 10 Frwy Eastbound. Checking if Rice Road (177/62) is still closed or has road work ongoing? Also checking if Road from 10 frwy through Ehrenberg into Parker still has closures and / or farm road detours? Thanks

Mohave RD (Ehrenbeg to Parker) still has a bridge out (says closed until end of June). Detour is Boise RD to AZ95 and is prime for blowing tires (pot holes all over).

Only the East bound on and off ramps at rice road are closed. Rice Road is open.
Take the Eagle Mountian off ramp which is a couple miles before rice road off ramp and detour to rice road. Simple and there were signs when we came out on Wednesday.

Going East on I 10 exit on Eagle Mountain Rd. It’s a few miles before Desert Center exit. There are Detour signs posted. Turn left go under the over pass and turn right on the frontage Road.

Evidently folks are confused by the desert center exit. To simplify, you can't drive under the freeway bridge.

Do yourself a favor and just go through Quartzite and make a stop at Silly Al's on the way. Totally worth the extra 20 minutes

The good news is both Waze and Google maps shows the detour now. They didn't on my last trip.

I did the Mapquest thing and Quartzsite is only 5 miles longer than using Mohave Rd.
Plus it is all 55+ with no speed traps.
