Anybody need a cheap commuter car?
This 97 Saturn was my parents tow behind the moho vehicle. Runs great, even has a decent stereo in it. Great for a kid going to school or going miles to work. First $1,000.00 takes it.

On the front axle or rear??

Who cares, its a $1,000 car. If it runs, drives, and all the fluids look ok then you're already money ahead.
It depends on whether it’s towed in forward or reverse.

Where's it at?
I know someone who would probably like to have it.

It's a manual trans car. 110,000 miles, has good working heat & a/c. Clean interior, drives great, good maint. Oil is clean especially for milage. The clear is pealing on the roof some. Has 1 small dent in hood, some light scratches here n there. It's been a very good, reliable car for them. I would drive to the river n back tomorrow w/o hesitation.

When my kids lived at home and saved for a first car this is exactly what I looked for.

Cheap, manual trans, good gas mileage... and my kids could pay for the whole thing working at the yogurt shop or babysitting.

I can't believe nobody has jumped on it... Anyone with a 15/16 year old with a fresh drivers license and no experience? this is perfect!

Saturn's are pretty durable, GM idea of a Toyota Corolla. If that was closer I'd be all over it.

Sorry to disappoint you and your brother vic. The ad said "first $1000.00 takes it".
I hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas too.

Is it not possible he sold it after he said he would meet your brother?

I’ve been in the sellers shoes everyone says they want it and either can’t get there or no show. First to show up and have money wins.

It’s nothing personal.

He did sell it after he said he would meet my brother. Chicken shit move. If I make a deal by mouth with someone I’m honoring it. Period. Don’t tell someone your going to meet them if you plan on selling it to someone else. That’s bitch shit. And the topping on the cake is my brothers truck just broke down.

This is where you have to see things from the sellers point of view. How does he know that your brother is serious and will actually show?

Now your the seller and there is a guy standing in front of you with money. What do you do? Most buyers are not a man of their word. So as a seller you have to worry about yourself.

Vic I Have taken guys words many times that it’s a done deal. Only to be stood up or get a bullshit excuse or even they show up and want to renegotiate price. As a seller you need to treat all buyers as flakes.

I lost $2,000 on that super duty I just sold because I held it for a guy that said he wanted it and to take his word. I did the right thing and got fucked.

Don’t get worked up over a $1000 Saturn.

You schedule the guy ( that actually bought it ) after meeting Vic’s brother! It’s pretty simple!

OR
you tell Vic’s brother via txt at the time YOU schedule him, “ if someone shows up before you, it might sell…. I want to be up front and let you know 1st one with cash “

Then sounds like he needs to buy a truck not a Saturn. 😂
