Channel getting filled with... dirt??!

What’s with dirt getting dumped in the channel along the waters edge? Shouldn’t it be getting filled with sand? Or, perhaps, dredge the sand back up?? That dirt is going to be nasty mud when the water comes up...

Looks like the are trying to back fill a some of the foundation before that little wall gets washed out. I agree though, a layer of sand of the top is what should be next.

I don’t get how this is a good idea? Even if you put fresh sand on top of the dirt... all of the wakes (from those who don’t understand the no-wake zone lol), water fluctuations and even storms will wash away new sand and leave us with this crappy dirt again???

Boaters don’t need nice sand - they can stand on mud... hahaha...

Apparently, the contractor, engineers and building inspector didn't understand what 5' to daylight actually meant.
