Keep using what your using. Anything you buy youll throw away in six months. Kids would rather have a box anyway!!! Mine always spent more time playin with the boxes than the stuff that came in em. :p

Well the old lady says she needs a chair. I figure it's cheap insurance so I can keep getting laid. LOL

my son sits on the couch when he is watching his cartoons. if he isn't sitting on the couch, he likes to sit on the floor and switch between playing with his toys and watching tv.

he does have this elmo chair that he uses from time to time, but he mostly likes to sit where mama and dada sit

Yeah thats what I said also, but the insurance isint any good..Kid got a chair that Al Bundy would be proud of and I got the shaft. Honestly we got him a nice elmo chair when he was 2 and I can honestly say I dont know where the fuck its even at, probably donated to good will so another kid can actually get use out of it but I have a boy so your daughter will probably use whatever you get her..my oldest (5) the longest he sits still is on the shitter.

Ours goes around and drags a pillow out or one of her toy storage boxes to sit on. She won't sit on the floor. LOL

When our kids were about that age we bought them kids rocking chairs. We still have them and all three of our grand children have used them and one is still using them. Not a recommendation - Just sharing a great experience!

I figure I could get a little chair for $30-$40 bucks or something. Wife will be happy, kid will be happy, and I'll still get laid. Makes sense to me. :D

Check out a Home Goods store,

found a child recliner and a regulalr chair, both around 50 bucks each. Our daughter started sitting in them around 10 months, got one in pink, one in brown, lucked out on colors as boy is on the way:thumbsup

I found a kids rocking chair in my loft.. I'm about 90% sure my brother made it from some template.. It's like a jigsaw puzzle where it slides together but u can also take it apart. If you have a router I can lend it to u to trace, it's actually pretty bitchen. I'll take a pic tomorrow am, peanut is sleeping and I'm not taking any chances. Lol

Hmmm. That would be cool. That may be cool to make it for her in a little larger size later on so she can use it when she's older. Maybe an heirloom type thing.

We got my daughter one of those foam chairs with the disney princesses on it. She loved it, it was light enough she could tote it anywhere she wanted to sit. Problem was when she was potty training, she would piss on it everytime. The cover unzipped from the foam so we could wash it, but theres only soo many times Dad's gona wash piss out of a foam chair so that ended up in the trash can quickly, but served it's purpose for as much as it costed.

Now that she's almost three, she's doin everything that the grown ups are doing. As a matter of fact, the love seat in the living room is 'my couch' (hers) according to her. Thats fine by me cause the view of the TV from there SUCKS! LOL...

All Foam Winnie the Pooh chair. Looked like a big sit in stuffed animal. Went through both kids. They love to sit there and rule their toys.

A plus side is they get all dirty and not your couch.

Listen up Dave! Joe hit it on the nose. Example...buy her an expensive toy kitchen set. You'll be thrilled with yourself, pat yourself on the back for braving the holiday shopping fanatics and then sit back and watch her pass right by the toy kitchen and end up playing with your old, used and ratty tuperware.

We bought my daughter a couch that's about 12" tall at Homegoods. She loves the thing. When she isn't sitting in it she puts her dolls on it and covers them with a blanket.

Why are you asking a bunch of boaters what chair to buy?

Just take her shopping and let her pick out the chair that SHE likes!

There, that was easy....................

The most important thing is that it comes in a big cardboard box.

Your kid will spend 1% of her time in the chair and the other 99% playing in the cardboard box it came in. Never fails. ;)

May I suggest a nice wooden rocker she can keep for years Dave. They enjoy that. My kids all had one as your daughter's age. Pretty sure they're still up in the garage. :thumbsup

We bought Sydney one of those cheesy flip out couches from TRU and she loves that thing. She sits on it all the time when watching her shows and when she wants to lay down she flips it out. Austin has taken over that one so for xmas they'll get new ones in the character the like. He loves sitting on it too now to drink his juice/milk and will chill for a while on it. It's so cute to see them on it together relaxing. The were on sale over the weekend when I looked at them. You can wash the cover too which is a plus!

The wife and I bought the boy a cars chair about amonth ago, I think you said you wanted to pay $30-40. Just so you know they are like $50 at target at least. Here is a pic. Of course they have more girl realated themes but at least an idea of a type of chari. Pretty good chair, pretty sturdy. The little guy has tested it!:D..
