Finally made my appointment with Detail Specialties to drop the Tremor off on Tuesday. Super excited to see how she comes out. Just need to decide if I want to repair the small damage that the shithead with pontoon did first. I told Randy I wanted them to look at it first and get their input. They said they could have Ron's do the repair first.

Either way its getting coated :D

Does ceramic coating just protect the gel or does it actually repair sun damage, scratches etc? I'm planning on having my boat wet sanded and buffed but is ceramic coat thing better?

Sorry don't mean to thread jack..

You won’t regret it. They do a great job of cleaning it up and sealing it. From there it’s mostly bottled water and microfiber towels to clean up. I’d pick up some ceramic coat friendly cleaners if you’re suer anal. Don’t forget to let shops know not to wipe it down with other product if you take it in for service.

What I know about it I’ve picked here on RDP. Seen some before and after shots that are pretty amazing.

I know the ceramic will protect and add some shine/gloss but all the work is in the prep. I believe they can remove something like 90% of surface defects. I would talk to them first.

Check out @OldSchoolBoats Howard after ceramic coated thread. Pretty amazing transformation in my opinion.

Great point on taking it in for service. Never even thought of that.

Yeah, either did I... SOB.
I bought a spray ceramic booster and did one side of the boat a couple trips ago. Seems to have helped a bit. Still way better than it used to be.
