The owners of Casa Fernandez have decided to retire. They have sold their popular Mexican restaurant to the owners of Sonora Mariscos, the same people who own the Carneceria on LH Blvd. Casa Fernandez was very good and this buy out by Sonora Mariscos may make it even better.

They already have a restaurant up on Kiowa and Avalon. Been there about 5 years and a good hole in the wall joint.

Yes. Just above Kiowa drive through. That place has kick ass sandwiches inside BTW.

Yes, the place way up on Kiowa has always been good. Their dollar street tacos on Monday and Weds kick ass.

Every time we are in Havasu we stop in and get meat from there market to Bbq

We ate there last night. Food was very good, wife's margarita was excellent, and very reasonably priced. However my stomach has been doing summersaults all day[emoji15]

Now this could possibly be, due to the after dinner cocktails (and not Sonora Taco's) at 2FF's house that were mixed rather liberally... I was feeling no pain when the wife made me leave [emoji51].

I'll have to try it again before I make a SOLID conclusion [emoji4]

New menu and their prices did go up a bit since Kiowa. We like it and have been back 3 times. They still do the $1 street tacos on Mon & Weds. Full selection, not just beef or chicken. Hard to beat.
