The 202XR console sits more forward that the Elite, both well built boats and about 21ft. I'd look for the 202, should find plenty out there, Carrera put out a huge number of boats in the 80's and 90's.

Start in Phoenix craigslist, tons were sold over here. Ive had both the 20.5 elite and 202 and would choose a 20.5. But it's a personal choice.

The 20.5 elite was pretty decent in chop and I really didn't have an issue with the slightly lower freeboard. The boat seemed bigger even though it wasn't much larger and it just handled better. It was a 454 jet as well.

The best 21 jet I have ever owned was hands down my last 2004 Ultra stealth made and rigged by John at Ultra.

We loved it. It handled the lake great, everything about it was great, lol I cant recall why we sold it back in 94. Carrera did a great job on the hull and gel. If I was looking for something in that class that wouldn’t be as old, I go with a Lavey Nuera 24.
