CAN AM QUESTIONS

So I have been all over the map with buy or not to buy, and RD's deal at the Sand Show really turned up the interest. But, I have some questions.

WHY IN THE F DO THEY HAVE SO MANY MODELS??

These questions are all in regards to the 2019s. (In my limited knowledge, I decided I don't need a 2020, I just can't justify that $)

1- X3 MAX TURBO R
2- X3 MAX X DS TURBO R

I can see the DS is the flagship (I think), but other than the locking diff, and the shocks, what is the differences here? I asked the dealer, and they are about as clueless as they come, and I know the RDP knowledge on these things is DEEP! I guess the real question, is the added $2,500 between the 2 worth the cash?

DS is not the flagship. That’s the narrower model.

One of the RDP members owns a dealership in Utah and is a good friend...He will probably deliver one to you also. If you want to talk to him let me know.

If you get a pre 18 model you want the Smart Lock model, power steering is better and you get better lockers in the diff’s. If it’s a max 4 seat it’s the orange black model.

They changed this in 19, all the 19’s come with the better power steering not sure about the diffs lockers.

Can am makes a wide car and a narrow car 64inch and 72inch

Unless your doing woods type rides you want the 72.

Best mod is get your shocks and new shock springs tuned. Makes a huge difference in ride.

Also want to run a minimum tire size of a 32 this will help with ground clearance in the 4 seat

If it has a D in the name, it is the 64 inch car.

72 inch wide dirt flagship 4 seater is
MAVERICK X3 MAX X RS TURBO RR

If you are getting a 2 seater you probably want the rock crawling version
MAVERICK X3 X RC TURBO RR

Me too. Thats what i would have bought. Mrs RR talked me into the RC. I was going to get 72 wide turbo orange rig. But after doors, tires, skid plates etc it was the same as a RC

The 2020RC is nice!

Yea the RC is ready to go, and it is even in my color for 2020. I need a 4 seater though. The reality is unless something perfect comes along, I’m keeping the RZR XP41K for a couple more years until the kids get older.

LOL. I bought some junk at the sand show and am jonesing to fire up the SXS in 2 weeks. changing up the rear suspension, got a reflash and have to dial in my new clutch setup.

Make me a offer , no on warranty, new 2018 ‘ 14, trailer goes with it , 2 sets of tires / rims lighted wip 2 helmets car was set up by 365 off-road , 35 hours on it ( 3-4 are just idling just to keep batt up ) car is 2018 it hasn’t even had 1st service yet .

WHAT'S NEW FOR 2020? More horsepower is news, jumping from 172 horsepower to 195 horsepower on Turbo RR models. The base model Maverick X3 RC Turbo makes 120 horsepower without an intercooler including can am x3 accessories. Turbo RRs have a bigger turbocharger, new pistons, a less restrictive intake, and a bigger intercooler.
