Does anybody know of a company that will come and remove kitchen cabinets?

We are replacing our kitchen cabinets and need to get rid of the existing ones which are still totally fine. I also need to get rid of the appliances as well which all work.

Does anybody know anyone who needs new cabinets or who does this for a living?

Thanks

Dude those look really nice and a great contrast with the butcher top.. what are you putting in that’s gonna look better? I love that kind of country feel.

The island with butcher block stays.

Just the white cabinets and appliances are coming out. Should have said that earlier. :)

New white cabinets and appliances are going in

Perhaps a handy man in your area would do the trick.
Those are really nice looking cabinets, someone should grab these.

I would be all over this if it weren't 2500 miles away.

I just shut my business down, after 25 years of kitchen bath restoration.

I finally did mine a couple years ago, I put my old ones in the garage, they make for good storage.

It really isn't that big of a job. I took mine out in about 4 hours with a rubber mallet and a power screwdriver, loaded it all up on my trailer, and took it to habitat for humanity. They gave me a receipt, and deduct it. They'll take the appliances too.

I always recomended semi custom, you get get a combination of wood and particle. We did full custom( hand built) but that can get pricey, especially with a custom finish.

I do like the new soft close doors/ drawers.

The new one should be nice, our guys order the doors but all of the cabinets are custom built. The boss is going white again but trying to figure out if she wants any glazing…

Soft close Is a must with kids LOL

No idea on the brand. Whatever the builder put in before we were here

Pretty sure the frames are Wood and doors are particle.

We bought custom alder wood cabinets with fancy glazed finishes and soft close hardware from a local cabinet maker for our new build.
We were able to get those for about the same price as going with modular cabinets such as diamond, fashion or kraftmade.
The mark up on cabinets is pretty steep.

Shit you’re so close it’s almost worth it to remove them myself.

What was your goal? To have them removed and taken away and just pay the removal fee or did you want them removed and stored in your garage so you could sell them yourself?

I was hoping to find someone who would remove and haul them away for no cost to myself. Since they are pretty nice cabinets, I thought that might be something someone might be interested in?

If I have to pay someone to do it, I'll just have my guys take care of it (just don't really have the time right now...)

Where are you located? I'd be interested in removing them and hauling them away.

What about the countertops (are they laminate, granite or )?

Countertops are granite, I would be happy for them to be taken as well.

I'm in Blossom Valley, between El Cajon and Alpine in East SD County.

Here are the closeup pics of the cabinets. The trash pullout is the only one with any damage (it was like that when I bought the house )

Oh I know, I certainly wasn't representing them as custom cabinets?

Put em on Craigslist, someone will come and get them for sure. I will ask my guys, they might want to do it over the weekend.

I'd ask around with local remodelers......There's good value to be had.

The fluted sides for the Fridge cabinet is a nice touch.

Can't wait to have the front of the house back...

Backsplash started today. Should finish Friday. Crown is patched back in.

Doors and drawers should be back from paint Friday. Hopefully install and fit of doors and drawers on saturday then paint the walls Sarurday (maybe) and install appliances Monday. Electrical trim can happen Saturday then final clean Tuesday/Wednesday and we should be good. Not too bad :)

We are racing the baby lol

Sarah was due last Sunday. They’re going to let her go till this Sunday then induce if she’s not already had Millie. Trying to get as much done as possible. At least we won’t be bringing her home while they were spraying the cabinets. That was the main thing.

Where did you find those pendant lights they are fantastic!
Lol, they’re actually hanging candle holders from pier one. My wife had the idea to turn them into pendants so we took and retrofitted them onto a pendant kit :)

Thanks!

So you’re trying to get all lowers set tonight for granite tomorrow? Man that’s going to be a late night. Good luck! Sounds like you’re getting close to eeeing the light at the end of the tunnel :)

Almost there. My kitchen is not as big tricky part was the angled sink base as my sink is in the corner first one I have done like this. My plumbing stub outs where not long enough had to pull the torch back out. Have enough ready now where he can start and not have to wait on me. Just need to cut the plywood and install in morning. And finish the other side of fridge panel which is the upper above fridge other panel and 2 more cabinets. Wait until morning for another set of hands.
