dont think az has it yet for phone.I got my new lic this year but did it online and had to print it.still says you must print it,Sucks too cause when i did it was so damn light and small you could barely read it.Might have to hit game and fish get a real copy.

I canlook mine up online though but i guess that can depend on the warden and we know how most of them are.

AZ has it. It's on the website AZ Fish and Game portal which isn't an app yet. Has all my licenses, stamps, bonus points, hunts ect. I have been using it for years.

They can radio in and verify. Not sure why they wouldn't. Be no different that you not having it and then calling in to verify. I get the part of not having it in person but that be a deek move if the FAG office did that.

They can obviously verify anything. The idea that they can take all your stuff and fine you when you don’t have actual possession of any license is Rediculous. With internet, apps, programs etc. It’s all just a power trip.

It's been years since I was on a fishing boat. But if it wasn't displayed it was a ticket. You couldn't have it in your tackle box or pocket. Had to be in plain view on your person.

Little off topic but a real experience none the less. Re fish and game and being stopped on the water. Client was out fishing with his friends. Fish and game come up and check them out. Asked a few questions and measured fish. Officer then asks if they pitched in for supplies. On friend says yes, we all pitch in for fuel, food and bait. Boat owner is asked if he had a charter license or commercial fishing license. No he replied. Well he gets a ticket for taking a fair to take people fishing. Lost in court as well.
Money was paid to go fishing is what it boiled down to.
Careful what you say....

I know they can but want it physically. Can be cited for not having in possesion. I’ll take a trip to azgf and ask again maybe it changed everything is digital these days and easy to access.

Wish they would standardize this across the board for all states.

Another thing that needs to be standardized is the hunter orange regulations. Each state has such different reg's it's kind of ridiculous.

rule now, is in possesion. i was fishing a local spot on shore here late one night, and DFG happened to pull up, which is not uncommon at this spot. i had to take a few steps to my bag to get it, the guy was cool and said as long you can produce it within a "reasonable distance" its all good.

Yes, will be accepted in the field. The only hard copies of licenses I received this year are my deer tags, they did not send me hard copies of hunting license with stamps.

I buy ammo in California allll the time, never have asked anything about my guns, they do an instant background check which is stupid, but never questioned anything about my gun

they say it’s a random bureau of firearms check waiting on approval
