This will end Proactive Police work in Ca. and lower standards as no one with any common sense will apply for LE.
Easy to click on link and let your reps know you are against it.
I’m not here for debate, there will be no semblance of Police work as you know it in Ca. If this passes.
Just body bags and evidence markers along with crime scene clean up.

Bill was shot down this time👍 They will try again

We are pleased to inform you that SB 731 (Bradford), the incredibly flawed “decertification” bill, failed to advance out of the legislature last night before the 12-midnight adjournment of this legislative session. As we stated previously, if SB 731 became law, it would have had debilitating repercussions for police officers and public safety. The bill was rushed through the legislative process with zero input from anyone in law enforcement and was an unfair, unreasonable and unworkable bill.

We want to thank each and every one of you who helped lend your voice to this fight. Thanks to your efforts, we had more than 17,500 individuals directly contact state legislators telling them about the flaws in the bill’s language and to vote No on SB 731. Our campaign generated more than 875,000 emails to the capital.

While we prevailed in defeating SB 731 , the issue of decertification along with other changes to policing in California have not gone away. The LAPPL will continue to aggressively engage with our elected officials in City Hall, Sacramento and Washington, D.C. to ensure your perspective and real-life experiences as police officers is understood by policymakers.

If you have registered for today’s Webinar to discuss SB 731, we are still holding that informational briefing.

Thank you again for your continued support.

Very truly yours,

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
