Depends on the dealer. If it's a big name dealer that sells lots of vetts maybe. Stingray Chevrolet down in Florida is probably the #1 Vette dealer.

If its a smaller dealer, they will be waiting.

I'd want to see the GM Workbench Event code to see if its actually ordered and been built.

Better be 3400 (order scheduled for production) or 3800 (vehicle built, VIN# available)

I want one. Someday. For now it's beat up old trucks.
Yeah I want one to. Just window shopping right now.

Was a little surprised to see someone selling a slot for $1k over msrp for brand new undelivered car. Seems like demand has softened. Not sure if that is due to the release of Z06, interest rates, or just the economy in general.

80k after tax and licensing. Sounds cheap after everyone was selling these cars for 100k for last three years. Still a big number for an average Joe. 😁

Demand has kinda softened, but more than that there is actually a supply now.

How do you guys like yours? My buddy bought a convertible and loves it, I have been really considering getting one as well but a coupe. I have heard there is more engine noise and heat in the coupe but everyone I know with one has the convertible. I would probably get a red 2LT with Z51 package.

Unless you like cleaning your exposed engine, get the convertible. MacMalkin is now the largest sales of Corvettes and at MSRP They can do a courtesy delivery at a dealer near you.

Gotta love this place 🤣 a $70k base Corvette is bare bones, almost undriveable.

FYI a 2024 1LT C8 in a standard color with Z51 package is $72,240 MSRP.

Ask someone with an 1LT how much they like not having front and rear cameras…without the rear view camera mirror you can basically see nothing out the back of the car while driving.

We have a 2021 3LT Z71 and paid MSRP.

I didn't think there was a new vehicle made without a backup camera.

Came THIS close to trading up to a 2023 a couple months ago. Findlay handed me a check for more than I paid for my Z51 as a trade in on a black 2023 not delivered yet.
When it came in I drove to Findlay puzzling out in my head how I could pay for it. When I got there it had sold that morning.
HUGE sigh of relief! Lol
But I’m sure I’ll have one before long.
My Z only has 14K on it, and although its value has gone down, the low miles keeps it relevant in dollars.
As you know, miles are the bane of these plastic vettes.

There isn’t. My 1lt has a back up camera.
All C8 corvettes have a bumper mounted back up camera.
2lt and 3lt have an additional deck mounted option I think.
The only thing I miss as compared to my other trimmed up Vette is the heads up display.

I have a 2021 and love it. It is a little difficult to get in and out of it, particularly if you can't get the door all the way open (like inside my garage), but otherwise a great car.
Very well thought out and handles great. I heard that there is a dealer in Utah that has 3 in stock and is discounting $3K off MSRP, prices are getting softer now.
Mine is 2LT with Z-51 package. No engine noise or heat in cab unless you hammer it then it sounds good like it should.

Backup cameras have been required by law for about a decade.

There was a time where rear view camera's didn't exist 🤣

Nice car. People think that CA prices are a reality for everyone.

What I was referring to is the rear view camera mirror, not a back up camera. Those I have spoke to without the camera mirror say rear vision is severely impaired.
I have rear view camera mirrors in both the vette and our truck, they are quite nice.
I read a while back that mirrors will eventually all be replaced with camera screens/views.

19 mpg 😂😂😂😂😂. What do you guys really get off freeways/highways etc., more like 5?
?
My C7 gets better mileage than my Tahoe, and my v6 explorer. 19 MPG is a low estimate.
I drive it hard and in Sport mode 95% of the time.
On the freeway I go touring mode and see 25 mpg quite easily.
My C5 was the same way, if not quite the same numbers.

I really like that color, nice car! My neighbor has a bright red with black accents and it is a nice combo as well.

Around town it averages about 15 mpg, on the freeway 25-30 mpg is easy, I even got 32 mpg on a trip to Havasu one time. The engine runs on 4 cylinders when cruising, but you can't feel it, just a signal on the dash tells you. It is very smooth and well done.

Mines only a C7, but I tried running it in eco mode and it just felt wrong! Lol
But it also will get 25 on the HWy in touring mode.

Convertable 1LT has the rear view camera.....I like the Mirror better.
