It was 22 years ago, July 4th , that we travelled here from Mexifornia after living there for all our lives. Bought a new house and havemt looked back except for wonderment as to how we we lived in So Cal all that time.
Havasu is getting too crowded but what cha gonna do huh, still better that the SO Cal scene by long shot

I really wish they would. I'm currently at an AirBnB in Baker City for the Holidays. Sitting in the shadow of the Grand Hotel, with the clock tower lit up red and green is just beautiful. My daughter's been here for over 20 years. I love the town. I call it South Park. Just a cool, old mountain town. All our grandkids are here. But moving to the democratic republic of Oregon just isn't in the cards. We've been looking at Nampa, Meridian, Caldwell areas. Boise is actually starting to lean left so, no way we'd settle in there.

We're heading south on Wednesday. A night in Ely and home, Thursday afternoon. I need to get off my ass and sell my place in Parker. That drive really drags a lot out of me now. Takes a day or two to decompress and fully recover.

Wife and I both own business, and unless it was a mail order business, what are you gonna do in Havasu? Construction? Not gonna last long… retail? Work from home?
