I'll pass that on. The stubbies look way cool though.5150 2 foot and 6 foot here. Wish they made a 1 footer.
I shy away from leading but I do pick a nice line so from time to time I take the duty. I just dumped my 6’ amazon whips for an 8’ buggy whip. That thing hurt to pay for but it stands really tall and is easy to see. Worth it IMOBuggy whips for the RZR. They just won’t break. We have 6ft that are mounted on the top of the cage. My husband usually leads in Glamis and he wants the tallest ones available to hopefully be seen. I have seen them fully bend in half on the whoops and just not snap. Im fully sold on them, but they are so pricey.
Had 5150 whips that came with the RZR short out after a witches eyes. But, hear good things about them. Could have been wiring from previous owner. The warranty applies to the original owner. They were going to let us exchange them, but you aren’t allowed to drop off and pick up. So shipping was going to be close to a set. Not sure if they changed that policy.
RLB whips for the Yxz. So far so good, they are on sale right now. Just couldn’t afford another set of buggy whips.
We use Safeglo, and they're in Havasu.
When putting the RangerCrew together I was going with a couple whips from Quicklights, I had seen them on a TMW build and really liked the hardware and the ability to swap them with other sizes and a small lit dust cover. I was led to believe that it wasn’t compatible with my system (not really the case, might have been more of unfamiliarity).
Anyway, all good in the end as I was led to go with SafeGlow and couldn’t be happier, they have worked out great. I have had great customer service when needed. I run two 3 foot whips when looking for high visibility and a couple of short 1 footers normally. I am able to change a brightness, colors, and flash by connecting thru bluetooth.
Did you have to order those?
They only show 4' and 6' on the website.
I have a pair of their 4'ers but would like a set of 1' whips also.
Please school me on the purpose of an 8-inch whip ...
Maybe I misunderstood Cam's post but I took it he bought 3' and 1' from Safeglow.
For us desert guys. It’s more so a little cool factor plus a whip for visibility. They need to be low for overhanging rocks and treesPlease school me on the purpose of an 8-inch whip ...

I already have their base mounts in place.

Why run one at all if you have a chase light / dust light?Tall ones get broken off. You don’t really need a 6 foot lighted whip when you have bumper and chase lights and not playing in the sandbox.

I know the answer.....mo bling
there’s two people that lead in our rides usually. Very worth it to be seen. They are so bright at night. I know return policies are great with other brands, but I like that these just don’t break to need to return them.I shy away from leading but I do pick a nice line so from time to time I take the duty. Damn that car looks good.I like 5150, the hyper whips are bright as fuck.. I went single color (white) but I almost went with Marshan(?) whips.
I like the 5150 base / mount the most. Can swap them out to day whips with flags n shit.
I went with the 4 footers cuz the car is already so damn tall.

Rancho Cucamonga now, looking for another set with the older base if anyone has a pair they want to sell.We use Safeglo, and they're in Havasu.
5150's with the magnetic base. They survived a drive into the garage when I forgot to take them off.
I saw that too. Pretty crazy5150 vote here too. Seen they have a Black light color now but Wanted to wait to see in person before pulling the trigger .
