Buddy's New Shockwave Tremor

[River Runner]

Went out to the river this weekend for my Buddy's Debut of his Brand new 25' Shockwave Tremor. Power is a 502, Gets to 60 pretty quick and is definitely a great boat to float on. Here are a few pics from the weekend. Yes that is the rookie from the other thread.:champagne::drnkfr

yeah, it was finished about a week and a half ago. Looking forward to this summer :champagne::drnkfr

There were a couple of other boats that they were going to start on pending financing.

Did Shockwave provide the 502 or did your buddy give it to them ? (Havent heard of anyone using a 502 for new power in a while)

All new boats will have 502's starting this year. The 496 is no longer being made. It was talked about in last months Performace boat Mag. the new 502's should be really nice from the sound of it. There will be the MAG and HO versions. But I think the HP has gone up a little on both. I think they had to do this because of the Catalatic converter situation. Nice boat im sure we will see it alot this summer. I know when we got ours we went like crazy!!!!!!!

Nice boat - As RD commented, it's nice to see people out buying new boats still. The Tremor is one of the biggest 25's out there, big enough to do a Catalina run in the winter too!:thumbsup

Thanks guys,

It is going to take some getting used to coming from a 21 foot jet to a 25 i/o, but so far I love it.

The new 502 has 5 more hp than the old 496, so this motor has 430hp (502 ho).

It is a big boat, you can't even reach the water leaning over the side from the driver or passenger side.

I am hoping to be out a bunch this summer, so hopefully we will be at the sand bar and bars and meet some members
