A few shots from last weekend in BVI.
The annual run around Tortolla is the only run they have down there each year and everyone with a boat comes out for the fun.
This year 130 boats participated.

It was my third year covering the run and I had a blast.

Thanks Dave. I have made some great friends in the boating community and will always be appreciative that they let me tag along to document the fun.

To anyone that enjoys boats and the boating life I would highly recommend a trip to BVI.
Pix don't do the place justice- it is a boater's paradise. The islands and beaches are incredible and most of the islands are within sight of each other.

Richard Branson owns an island a couple miles from Virgin Gorda.
The island is available for rent- $56,000 per day. (with, I think a one week minimum)

Here's a shot of his private residence there.

Scout- price of diesel varied from 4.80-6.00/gal depending on where we were. Mid 80's, air and water.

The whole story on Bob Barnhart (Bobthebuilder) is a pretty intersting one. I wrote a quick story on his adventures last year. This year he actually went further down island. Awesome adventures....

Mike, the reason you haven't seen it is because it's brand new.
Scrub Island is directly across the William Drake Channel from Trellis Bay- at the Beef Island Airport. Beautiful spot, for sure. Condos are available.
