I think we have a board member that’s in Long Beach specializes in rebuilding vintage brake calipers. The Malibu Grand Prix car has a partly locked up front brake caliper so I need it done by a pro.

Not sure if these are who you are talking about.

I hear you guys this is not a involved job, but after looking at the website and talking to them, they specialize in these oddball stuff and a lot of vintage stuff so probably a two day turnaround

I’ve got the name of the original manufacturer. It’s actually was made by a division of by airheart when he was alive in his business, but these are no longer available. Nothing even used anywhere on the market.
Thx! I’ll post photos as this all comes together

I've never seen anything come out of their shop in a couple days...maybe months.

Airheart calipers typically use regular round o-rings....Airheart started out before they figured out square cut seals work better. I just get 'em from McMaster Carr (in EPDM) and then make new pistons on the lathe if need be. After they come back leaking I put modern square cut seals in 'em they work fine mostly, but they're a very primitive design, in line with the machining technology readily available at the time. Lots of parts that don't need to be there.
