I’ve been reading up on these Alpine coaches and came across one for sale in Yuma and picked it up this past weekend. Bought it off the original owners. Its the 34FDDS model and has 27,000 miles on a Cummins 350 with the Allison 3000 trans with the side radiator (Hard combo to find in a 35’ coach). Needs tires and general service and some cleaning but seems like a solid coach. Drives very smooth compared to the gas coach I upgraded from. I wanted something I could tow some more weight with and from what I’ve read this coach will do it. Looking forward to getting it dialed in and taking it to Yellowstone this summer with my family. I know a few members have owned these coaches over the years. Hope to hear from a few on any good upgrades or items to choose keep an eye on.

Great coaches, there are some weird quirks like priming the water pump to get it to pump when not hooked up to city water. I a friend had one and it towed awesome, we added a brace from the hitch to the frame and he towed way to much and it never skipped a beat.

Owned our 2001 34' for 15 years. They are well built and nice handling. If you are a boon docker, you will really appreciate the water and holding tank capacities. We did a remodel inside and sold it a couple of years later for our present Phaeton.
