Lol! Yes. I must say. Not every deal is picture perfect for us. We have been in biz since 86 and as a non garage outfit since 1990. In those years we have made mistakes, not taken care of a few folks because of personality conflicts and we have not fixed a few items we should have back in the early days. We learned a lot. Life is not perfect but we try to keep our work fun and steer clear of drama. Sometimes you just can’t but we are a dedicated TEAM! ITS not just me! My staff is the best! I’m telling you. These guys have been with us through thick n thin and never skipped a beat! We are like a brotherhood here! A family! Sure we have guys come n go at more entry level positions. I think they look at our core group like we are nuts! They can’t seem to believe what we go through to make sure it’s as best as it can be! None of us sleep if someone is out and has an issue. And don’t think we don’t get failed ignition box’s modules and a few other bs things. It all happens! The good news is we learn from this and design and build better products. Anyway I may be ranting but my staff deserves the credit. They work so so hard and are so so loyal! Could not do it without them! Our main machinist is 81 years old. I told him “I will never retire you” “you just do as you wish” “ he is still here about every week hanging out” anyway. They get the credit, hell they gotta deal with me!!!

Personally, I would pick bigger. My personal opinion. 540 Merc if I had to choose stock power.

Like all the previous posters I have nothing but good things to say about Alexi.

Straightforward, no BS, and courteous to a fault.

I have one of his compound blower motors in a 24; the motor makes a ton of power with absolutely no drama.

Last September I smoked my starboard side Ilmor & called Alexi. He answered all my questions, gave me several options and helped me work through a solution that I felt comfortable with. Doug picked our boat up in October & Alexi has it now.

The best recommendation I can give ? I'm spending my $$ with him, have never second guessed the decision to do so, and I'm located in MI.

I’m wishing I would’ve took my motor to him. I tried to do what was convenient for me and now 2 months later I don’t even know wtf is wrong with mine.
